Racism is a tool to manipulate populations it is a divide and conquer method to keep people afraid of one another. I don't think racism is inevitable but we would have to stop being fearful.
Yes,you´re right. They who call white people racist are racists them selfs.Racism is a word created by people who hate white people.
Like any other form of hate, it's the ego trying to elevate itself or separate itself out of fear of things it doesn't understand or doesn't want to understand. It's a trap that every human makes for himself. It's not created by 'society' but it can be propagated by society.
We all have fears of the unknown and the propensity to be racist. The secret is to use our intelligence to rise above initial thoughts and realise that beneath the colour of our skin we're all people; some good, some bad; and that we should make decisions based on what we like or dislike about someone's character and nothing else.
I don't think racism is stemmed from people thinking 'their the best'... Not in the slightest bit... For instance...examine your own feelings and moods... When you leave your house really feeling good about yourself, your looks, your fitness ect ect...you tend to be more confident and nice towards others...cause you feel 'whole' and 'complete'... (And subsequently, how others looked or their color would have zero bearings on your own 'beautiful wonderful identity') In other words, a person who truly felt superior in all ways to other people or ethnic groups, would actually be at peace with them. In that they wouldn't feel 'threatened' or in 'competition' with anyone else... Like super man living amongst mortals, he would be at peace or ease... War and strife only comes about when one feels 'threatened' by whatever.... Back to leaving your house... Now when you leave your house with messy hair, debt issues, and low self esteem, (internal disruptions)...than how you relate to those around you might not be so pleasent...cause your no longer feeling 'better than'...now your feeling vunerable and flawed. And it's the same with racism...if you really look closely at it and human behavior... People who are whole, and truly happy with themselves, and truly think themselves 'beautiful'...won't have any hostility towards anyone else...if anything they might have a condescending pity. Racism is spurned on by inadequacies within ones own soul. People who are racist, really don't feel superior...what they feel is defensive and scared and threatend for whatever reasons...
In other words, it is my belief and experience that... Racism and hatred is not spurned on by ones feeling of superiority over another... I find just the opposite to be true... A superior boxer in the ring, is actually more at ease and relaxed when facing his opponent, than a poorely trained inferior boxer... The inferior boxer will tend to display more eradic, emotionally driven out bursts in the ring... to make up for his lack of skill. Being or feeling superior actually makes one more confident, and put's one at ease around others.. So I just don't believe one can attach racism and feeling superior together...cause emotionally and behaviorly it really doesn't stack up... (Racism and hostility is spurned own by ones on feelings of inadequacies, when measured against others) And I also agree anyone can be racist or hostile towards others...
I live in America and in reality in America there isn't much diversity anyways. Whites tend to live in white neighborhoods, mexicans tend to live in mexican neighborhoods, and blacks tend to live in black neighborhoods. I just think government and race should stay separate. No forced segregation and no forced integration. No racial discrimination and no affirmative action. As far as racism is concerned, its a form of psychological totalitarianism to either fight racism or encourage racism. People should just stop worrying about whether other people are racist or not, it's none of our business. People have a right to their feelings on things. What is our business though is the laws of the country. Any sort of racist legislation I vehemently oppose.
I don't think race is the issue. It's more to do with culture. It's very hard to see how these issues can be overcome, as some cultures (without mentioning any names) have intolerance built in. Arguably in fact, all cultures are like this to some extent. Racial diversity among people with a common culture could be workable. Or change the cultures that inform racism.(that's unlikely to happen) Can't see any other solution. That's how it appears to me based on the situation here in the uk - quite different of course from the usa.
If you live in the boondocks maybe this is a true, but aside from that the only place in the world you'll find more diversity is probably Brazil. Hell even in just a small city like New Haven you can hear so many languages being spoken in any given day.
