as for black Kentucky cops. Do you know the numbers? Seems not. 7.3% of cops in Kentucky are black, which is in line with the 7.35 % of the population of Kentucky identifying as black or African American.

Ever hear of 'ballistics' or 'Forensics' ??? wherein they can now tell the attitude the person was standing/laying down when shot, the track of the bullets etc, etc. therefore if she wasn't laying down, when she was shot, that would become apparent in the forensic report oof her murder.

1) First the police showed up at the wrong address
2) While the police were serving the warrant the suspect was already in custody 10 miles away
3) The police arrived in plainclothes and unmarked vehicles
4) The police claim they identified themselves 4 times. yet no one heard them, When confronted with
that fact the Police said it was a no-knock warrant so they didn't have to identify themselves.
5) Breonna's boyfriend made a 911 call claiming someone was trying to break into their apartment.
Since he was licensed to carry a gun he fired in order to protect himself and Breoanna.
6) The Police proceeded to spray gunfire into the residence (20-30 rounds) with total disregard for the value of human life,

7) Breonna Taylor and her boyfriend had no criminal history, or drug convictions. No drugs were found in the apartment.

 

Just an innocent young couple with their whole lives ahead of them, family, children, anything.
one dead mutilated by 8 bullets, and the other facing charges of attempted murder of police officers.

 

God damned contrarians. Many black people are still expendable in this country and many whites still stick up for rogue police. Obvious the mentality of the civil war remains in much of the south. And reading some of these posts--way north also.

 

Ok I am wondering, do you think this shooting was racially motivated or a complete fuck up? As for her boyfriend having no criminal record, I did not read that at all. I read only that she didn’t have a criminal record.

 

Black Man in Vermont Pulled Over and Told to Leave the Entire State by White Man

It has become incredibly apparent over the last few weeks that white people believe it is their divine right to police black people.

A black man in Vermont was pulled over by a random white man and told to leave the state. On Friday, the victim was driving with his 11-year-old son when two vehicles flagged him down. Assuming they needed help, he pulled over, only for them to begin threatening him and telling him he was “not wanted in Vermont and told to leave,” according to the Vermont State Police.

 

I don’t know if it was racially motivated, I only know the cops were white and before the raid a picture of the suspect was distributed throughout the ranks as is standard procedure.

As for Mr Walker, he had a license to carry, you don’t get issued one of those if you so much as spit on the ground.

The governor said despite coronavirus travel orders in place, out-of-state residents who own property in Vermont are still welcome.

I can only tell you the black driver said he felt it was racially motivated, that's the vibe he drove away with which is why he reported it to the state police.

 

Seriously, it bothers me that every time there is a confrontation, it is called racism, even if it is a black officer shooting a black man, or a hispanic cop, who shot a black man in the leg, or the mentally ill woman who hit an African American kid with her car. Things like this cause a greater divide, more distrust. When racism is claimed in papers, when they don’t know the details. Use it to outrage people, sensationalize things it makes things worse than they actually were. Then when things don’t turn out how it was sensationalized it just becomes worse,

it is no way to solve things, make things better, it just makes it appear greater. Upset the people, create discord, creates more distrust and a divide. And Vlad there is probably laughing ... at his thread title and his attempts to further it. Vlad wants war in the USA. Do you?

This is why I don’t trust news sources, and many things in this thread dont belong under racist America, in my opinion. I like people. I dont care about ethnicity, background, Colour of skin, etc... it has always been about who people are as individuals for me.

You have a right to believe whatever you want but as an african american male I see it, live it, and experience racism every day.

Most of the time it's so subtle it's barely discernible. but it's there, its tangible, and occasionally rears it's ugly head for all to see, you choose not to see it.

 

Not that I choose not to see it, I choose to not see everything as racist acts, when there is no evidence to label it as such. You don’t think I have felt hatred for me because of how I look? Or because of what I am? I have! Newspapers hype things up. Do you think the sentence of the cop who was Somali was racist? I see it as justice. It isn’t about skin colour, yet the media and groups said it was. This is false claims of racism and it, in the end, makes people see the papers for this, as liars. Just like false rape claims, it makes people question every it every time. Where is the evidence... your word against another’s. So we all look at the evidence. It is all you have to go on in the end. Papers lie, lawyers lie, cops lie, the public lies, politicians lie. Everything is a lie. Everyone is innocent of charges until proven guilty, and that includes claims of racism, your word against another. How you felt is irrelevant. Was it misinterpreted? And that lawyer had the gall to marginalized women in his BS statement too. Let’s see what will upset the people. Let’s create a media circus to win! Let’s see what BS will stick.

 

Not to downplay any your life experiences, or make assumptions of the situations where you've encountered racism against you.

However, I would like to point out one very important factor: just because someone is a dickball to you, that doesn't always mean they're being a dick to you because of racist reasons. Unless they made a racist remark when demeaning you, how would you know their reasons are actually racist?
