Ori answered me in SL. He said we didn't need to turn out the pilot light that it will be okay.

I did. I either don't have the words to describe it or I have too many. I'm sure there will be much written by many people about these shows later. I haven't yet heard a lot of the recordings. I've heard some and...from what I've heard....there may have been a few mistakes here or there but it was understandable. There was one jam that was so intense that Bob missed his cue to come back in on the vocals. Less than 24 hours later...I'd have to say the whole experience...the music, the crowd, the vibe....it might just be my best live music experience...ever....and that's saying a lot. I actually held my wife as we rocked back and forth together while tears ran down my cheeks during the encore. Perfect song for the encore. Here's a video...

If anyone cares enough about this to watch the whole video and you aren't familiar with the song....I realize some of the vocals might be hard to make out at times. So here are the lyrics. Perfect song at the perfect moment. Thank you GD for 30+ years of enriching my life. I'll never forget it!

Hell yes. A plumber is coming out in the morning. Hubby's days of repairing anything have passed.

RF: about 1.5 inches of rain in 1/2 hour...

That finished cleaning out the gutters and downspouts I did the other day. There was water shooting out of the ones near the front patio. Looked like a fire hose.

RF #2... I seriously need gutters on the back of the house.

The good news is there was not a leak.

Bad news was $450 new Pressure Regulator Valve and labor.

    well that sucks

over here the pressure is controlled by main system...none of the houses need their own regulators (except boiler systems will have one on their own loop)

i remember one time the main regulator broke and pressure spiked ...there was broken main lines all the way up about 6 streets back to the well source lol

plumber ripped you off. the valve is about $50.00, labor the most for that. $100.00 because its not even a hard job.. curb shut off, nut and nut, its done.

He told hubby the part was $250 and there would be 2 hours of labor at $100 each. I guess he charged us for the time it took to go get the part.

We already had the water cut off at the street from last night.

Hubby said it took him about 20 minutes under the house.

Yes, I know it's typical of plumbers, electricians, those types.

I wanted to get him the hook-up from my friends circle but he had to bust a nut and "call a 'very reputable professional'".

I'm still fucking going on vacation Sunday.

    Neener.

Haven't done any real autobody work since... shit I don't remember. The Cub Cadet is getting a total makeover.

people always tell me theyre amazed at the amount of patience when im fixing things (or trying to diagnose)....but bodywork is something i run out of patience quickly with

one time i was doing great work on my car...a little at a time doing it right..by the end i was so fed up i painted the whole damn thing ...windows and all..it was easier to clean the chrome and razor blade the windows than it was to mask it all

I did autobody for a living back in the 70's and early 80's.... Mechanics, hot rod style, was my hobby. I built some nice cars back in the day.
