There were three of those... I saw one of them at a car show several years back. Had three signatures... Nesmith didn't feel like signing.

 

I had a huge emotional meltdown because I couldn't find my kitten. I thought he had gotten outside when the grandson was in and out. He was actually deep in sleep behind storage bins in the laundry room.

I really don't like loving as deeply as I do. When you love deeply, you hurt deeply.

Okay, back to sewing.

Been teaching my daughter how to play soccer lately. She's always known that I used to play soccer....and football, baseball, etc. I was even a soccer and football coach for a while. She's known that but I never thought that she thought very much of it until recently. She wants to play soccer and said "I want YOU to be the one to teach me." Yeah...ok...it's been a few years though.

After about the first 5 minutes...I was kicking and handling the ball like I never forgot how to play. I felt like I was in high school again. I told me wife "I bet you didn't think I could still handle the ball like that." She said "I'm not even a little bit surprised." I'm having so much fun teaching my daughter that I wish there was some group of adults around here who want to just play for the fun of it.

I learned that my 12 year old and my 8 year olds were both eliminated from the tournament today. I know they had some great games and did well. Now, they can enjoy a whole day of plain vacation tomorrow. I'm pretty sure they come home on Saturday.

 

I also found out that I shouldn't be sewing when I'm sleep deprived.

 

Was stitching a pair of boots on a walking foot machine once while similarly sleep deprived... Ran up over my finger and completed three stitches. They even caught the bobbin thread and made complete knots. I had to cut them out.

 

After not sleeping well all week, I'm finally exhausted. I'm going to crash so hard. Nite Y'all.

NyQuil keeps me awake... Go figure.

On your phone or PC or both? I noticed some changes on the mobile version. But now I'm on my computer it all looks the same again.

 

We change things anytime we feel like it will mess with your head.

 

My daughter told me that on vacation we're taking this really cheesy "Pirate Ship" cruise (think Disney-cheesy). It costs $25.

The worst part of all a message from her bossy friend that is staying up the beach from us.

"Wear a Red or Black shirt because we're taking a group photo at the end of the trip and I want us all to co-ordinate."

First, I'm not spending $25 to do that. If all the adults chip in $5 toward a ticket for me, I guess I'll have to. I know them. They do these things.

Second, they are lucky I do have a black shirt but I'm not thrilled at the thought of going in coordinated attire like some dysfunctional sorority.

Third, I'm going to phone this friend up at random, inconvenient times, all during the night, every night, and ask her what the wardrobe color scheme is for the next day.

She's going to regret being such a twit.


My daughter is only friends with her because they've known each other their whole lives. They've grown in different directions but they love each other and keep forcing the togetherness. It's pure co-incidence that we'll even be there at the same time.

That request of wearing a red or black shirt because she would like to have the group photo look that way would have awoken the obstinate person in me too. And yes, I also can recognize refusing to spend that 25 dollar And I know I'm not mean

 

We are really broke. I'm lucky to get to go at all. I will have grocery money and that's it. If I had alot of money to spend, I wouldn't have gone on the cheesy Pirate Boat Cruise. I would have just taken the boat out to the island and stayed a few hours.

Now, I'm trying to decide if I want to wear a green shirt to clash with the red and black theme; or if I want to pack my whole Halloween Pirate Costume and really embarrass her.

I am mean, I think.
