    Thanks, Ty.

I know to stay away from the yellow tints. I don't like them.

I am going to check some whites with a red undertone because I like the feel.

Maybe I do need a drop of gray.

I don't know. the trim is stained in what was called "Double Pecan".

I love colors, and painting...or rather planning painting.

I HellHate painting ceilings, though.

However, after that (the ceilings) everything else wonderful can be done, or something like that.

The older I've gotten, the slower I've become. The more of a perfectionist ass I've also become. :dizzy2:

Anyway, I think a drop of the gray or black would be a good thing to do...

or with the double pecan color, a drop or 2 of dk brown?

Of all those, definitely the Full Moon white is what I'd choose for walls! That could be paired with almost anything and it would look great.

I painted lots of stained wood trim the the front rooms of the house, almost 20 years ago. I didn't even get finished with the baseboards. I did paint the hideous metal doors that go to the outside Those were painted brown originally; supposed to match the wood work, lol.

The bedroom would look alot better if I painted the trim to match the walls. All those doors need to go away. I wouldn't even paint the trim a different shade. If I paint it, it's going to blend in.

Damn, now I want to paint the trim. More work.

Your big job just got bigger. :)

I love painting and tend to manage to do the painting not only for family but most of my friends. At one point or another I think I have painted at least one of each of their houses.

Cheapest renovation you can do and it freshens the house again. :)

I don't want a huge difficult job. I'm not painting trim.

I've got a north facing room so that's something to work with.

I'll pick up some chips, then buy a small can of what I choose, paint a poster board, and move it around the room until I settle on it.

Yeah, nice color, does seem to have a touch of brown in it... Can't tell on a computer screen though. Seems warm though... Straight gray would feel (look) cool.

Or... either ground cinnamon or instant coffee. Yeah, those make good paint tints for custom colors in the tan range without going yellow. It would match that pecan trim nicely with the coffee.
