I was introduced to Rocky Horror at the tender young age of 12 the week the movie came out.
My 7th grade math teacher was a huge fan of the live show and took me to go see it.

Yes, I like the spice tones.

I've been reading and white is a no-no for rooms with a northern exposure that also have low natural light.

I've got to have some warmth in the paint and since yellow is not happening, I'll have some sort of spice-colored undertone.

I looked at Behr Paint and I'm liking Fireplace Glow.

That color is too dark and would limit your decorating ideas.

Like no purple... Or blue. Red would be risky... Maybe greens and other browns.

This is a nice tone and soft when applied, I did a friends living room in this and it was north facing.

    Thanks Heat!

I'm liking this maybe, even though I didn't think I wanted yellow.

    It's called Spanish Lace.

There is a reason that I have put off painting my room...

I hate trying to pick paint.

I really don't want that yellow one up there either.

I did my moms room in this. It is on the lilac side but really looks more white than coloured.

Called lilac mist. Look it up on line as the colour against this background is way off.

    That's crazy.

For me, here, it has a green tint. On the Behr site it's fine. It looks like Lilac.

I'm back from Phish. I've been camping and haven't worn underwear for 2-3 days (although we do have showers, etc. at that place), I discovered and consumed a ton of awesome local IPAs, I did no drugs whatsoever and we saw some great shows. I honestly have no idea how I lived through my 20's and early 30's. I am just beat right now. We used to go see the Dead and...later...Phish for 5, 6, 8...9 shows in a row back in the day? And we tripped so hard and were ready to go again the next day.

Yeah...well....I have a few more gray hairs than I did back then. But we had a really nice time.

I'm buying Benjamin Moore White Dove and be done with it.

It's the most used white and it's foolproof with no weird undertones.

If I don't like it later, I'll call it primer.

If someone had brought in a white paint today, I'd have used it and never questioned undertones or anything. I hate too many choices.

Hmm...I was just thinking about hitting those shows drug-free (seriously not a new thing for me...I gave up on most of that shit years ago)....it occurred to me....I didn't see one single person even selling anything drug-wise. Plenty of people were partying but I just asked my wife and she didn't see anyone selling either. Maybe I wasn't looking for it and maybe the cops at Alpine are pretty in control but usually it's right there for anyone who wants to partake. I also noticed that at least 80% of the people were younger than my wife and I. Kids are fucking slackers these days!
