No it's a AYP 1999-2000 Ranch King Pro. Same as the Poulan and Husqvarna of the same years. It's actually a really nice mower if I can get it working.

Just remembered another funny thing about that old man.....we used to call him Ball Slap. That was just his nickname but nobody ever had the balls to say it in front of him. The job made him so old. He retired in his early 60's but he looked like he was in his late 70's or early 80's. That fucker used to just whip out his cock and piss wherever he had to. Having a safety meeting....Ball Slap has to piss? He gave no shits at all. I remember one safety meeting where another foreman said "Have you ever seen Neil's cock? He just throws it out there! The guy has a huge cock!" Holy shit! That was funny! Maybe you had to be there.

Supposed to get into the mid 60's again today...

Too many projects, not sure which one to get started on. I'm sure I should be mowing something.

In the process of pulling the shroud off that Kohler engine and one of the plug wires just pulled right out... then one of the magneto wires fell right out. Damn mouse nest, which I expected, but why the hell do mice eat wires?

Engine spins freely now, plugs out. It has compression with my thumb in the spark plug holes. It's buildable. Mouse nest in the flywheel could have been what locked it up, cylinders could be fine.

Watching a Cub Cadet on fleaBay... $200 bills. It's a shaft drive lawn tractor 2166 that can be converted to a garden tractor 2186 with a wheel swap... Hmmm. They don't make a loader attachment though, which is what I need.

Would make a nice GT puller though. Hmmm.... I think I have a disease. :dizzy2:

Was emailing with the lady that grew up in this house. Her mother always said that her father would disappear in April and reappear in September because he was out mowing... Sounds about right.

Actually found out that one of the John Deere models was the same tractor with a different hood design and higher price tag.... Sneaky fucks.

Okay.... Mice and rain fucked me up. Motor should be fine but it needs both coils and a starter.... Just to figure out what else might be wrong with it.

    Dammit!

That Cub Cadet is looking mighty tempting... Ends in 3 hours, no opening bid yet ($200) but there's 15 watchers waiting to snipe it in the last 30 seconds. Buy it now is $300. It's not as good a mower as the Ranch King could be, but I'd likely end up dumping $300+ into the Ranch King. The Cub needs a carb rebuild... Shaft drive and a hydro rear end is a definite plus though.

Fuckity fuck.... I hate this shyt.

almost all homeowner models are made by either ayp or mtd...they just change the stickers and make minor cosmetic changes for whatever company ordered them

Same thing with most brands of chainsaws. The higher end brands make their own. Aside from them...just pick whatever you want because most are made by the same couple of companies. Just a different color and logo.
