prime with what?.....I have 1970s linoleum in both rooms....buddy told me if iyts a rental just go over top because it will be a mess underneath with old poison glue?.....

 

I don't think I saw any 3 dollar paint last time.....I think the 5 gallon pail was closer to 50?...

 

if the glue is old enough it will probably crack right out with flat shovel .. or you can just get some rolled vinyl and go over it ..

primer /like paint helps get the area clean so the tile will stick.

 

That's so funny you say that. That style is really popular here too. I don't get annoyed by fads anymore, but yeah it DOES seem like another fashion quirk to me. I do have to smile a little about most of these guys though. But yeah, who cares

Only a bit longer than that. Because I didn't do anything about it the last half year. It used to be that same length for years (as I did cut off the dead ends every few months)

Did a whole bunch of of weed trimmer stuff around the house and in the yard spaces... I've got a fuggin' huge yard. It's starting to look maintained though. Still a long way to go...



Was expecting rain, hasn't materialized yet.

i should be outside working but i did something stupid last night and am hurting

 

I had my son up around some live voltage this afternoon. Of course, I was keeping a very close eye on him since it was his first time in the air with live lines. He did pretty well. He flew the boom relatively smoothly. Navigated the wires and other obstacles well. He seemed well-aware of his surroundings and comfortable that high in the air. (By contrast, I've had guys who chickened out when the boom was 10 feet above the cradle...one even came down and puked right away).

So I was pretty proud of him and I sent a text to my wife telling her about it. She texted me back..."That's like him having sex. I'm sure it happens but I don't want to know about it".

It wasn't anything too complicated or dangerous but I thought it was a nice little accomplishment because he's had to learn a lot to be able to even try what he did today. I'll put him back up tomorrow for a little while and if he keeps progressing....I think he'll be earning himself some bucket time. I made sure he knew I thought he did a nice job today. :bandana:

 

Well, I have a shitload of stuff to do, and as usual I am putting everything off for the last moment....
