Thanks.....rough 2 days here.....thought he was a goner a few times.....I am sure it is pneumomia again....same thing....but this time....he is not fighting as hard and is weaker than he was the last two times he had it....3 summers in a row now......Thankfully, the neighbor vet is here this weekend, so she was called and gave some good free advice....and tomorrow....Champy will go to his vet...he is 13 years old now.....and life expectency is 12.8 years for male pugs. I hope he dies peacefully in his sleep and not screaming for breath like he sometimes does. that is my wish for him.

yeah...poor thing.....He looks at me with those sad fading eyes and with love and thanks in them, too......I have to turn numb to hang on emotionally and not fall apart at times.....but it is hard....:( I have had him since he was 8 weeks old.

I will wait to hear what the vet says.....There was a cat named Zee I had that was dieing, but he kept hanging onto life and hanging on and hanging on....unbelievable....but one trip to the vets and was told it was best to put him to sleep, so I did......and regretted it, too. If Champy is suffering, it would be best, though. His quality of life is not good right now. I should know more tomorrow.

That's exactly what I'm doing with this piece of wood. But it's a thinner piece. Like I said...kind of a test run. I can cut them however I want. The cutting is easy but the drying is very importent and I don't have a lot of experience with that just yet on the really big stuff. The drying is a long process and you don't want to rush it.

But I love being in my new wood shop. I'm not even going to call it my garage anymore. I don't park my car in there. I've had conversations over the years about what makes people happy and I've always asked them what they would do if money wasn't an issue. This is what I want to do. It's what I've always wanted to do and I wish it was my daily job. Maybe one day it will be.

I wish my son would take over the day to day operations of the company one day and I could just build things. Brings me the logs and I will take it from there. Nothing would make me happier.

i knew a guy that made cabinets ..his shop had a bunch of humidifiers and dehumidifiers all set up to keep it at some perfect level

his small orders of lumber would cost tens of thousands...i supposed he ripped off those suppliers in the end the same way he ripped me off...i should have seen it coming though after seeing him ripoff 2 landlords from previous shop locations and constantly watching him screen his phone calls

I think the broinlaw missed me, Ive not hung out with him for almost a year. he gave me some hash oil and a few grams of some other danky bud. but I did fix their air conditioner, I dont know why they keep calling their service guy only to have me fix it later. really needs a full leak check. but idiot over charged it so its not getting cold, I vented out little bit of gas(illegal) and turned the fan down to med, But they have a monster load on the ac with side windows open, and the fireplace in the game room was kicking on.. like feed the utility pig these people are.... nuts, just nuts.

My lumber won't cost me much because I'll cut myself but.....interestingly enough...my wife has a humidifier and a dehumidifier. To me, it's just a bunch of stuff that you don't need. Why have both? Just open the fucking windows sometimes.

Yeah, old stupid sayings are just that.

There's a new saying, "If someone can't handle the truth of that which you speak, then that is their problem."

Rain overnight, but sunny and nice now. Just what the grass needs to grow another 6 inches in 12 hours time.
