We are under a tornado watch until 8 pm. Totally humid out there.

Champy has bronchitis, the precursory to pneumonia, so it is caught in time. He is on 3 different meds now....the usual muscles relaxant for his trachea and 2 others now for his bronchitis. The tumor on his behind is all raw, bloody and disqusting...i need to follow him around alot to wipe blood off the floor....but he makes it through again for now.
Champy is a stud and will always be a stud until the day he dies....He was never fixed....He lives for food, peeing and trying to hump Moxy , still, who is fixed .....She was fixed after the first brood of puppies. Moxy is happy with her 3 children and her life as it is. The 3 siblings are all fixed , too. Gali would have been the stud of the group, if he had not been fixed. Einstein...no....and Winnie, would have also made a good mother.....but they are all happy pugs and happy with each other and life here.

 

Weather station is online but not allowing connections... Maybe they got hit big time by this storm. Here, we got a brief shower and some wind but that's about it. Kinda cramped my garden work for the day.



Some of that mulch is down and I got one shrub in the ground... 4 other shrubs were planted previously. Placed two flagstones today and scattered some flowers around too. It's starting to look like something... Plan was conceptualized two summers ago when I brought all that flagstone down here from the old sidewalk I had to replace, it's looked like crap since.

First time I ever did that (1984) ended up getting lost while only 3 blocks from Home.
I'd have felt like an Idiot for it but luckily had 3 friends with me who were also equally lost and close to home.

 

Moonie, I'm glad Champy has some meds. I hope he recovers quickly.

 

My lumber won't cost me much because I'll cut myself but.....interestingly enough...my wife has a humidifier and a dehumidifier. To me, it's just a bunch of stuff that you don't need. Why have both? Just open the fucking windows sometimes.


Just to clarify...I shouldn't have said :Why have both?" in relation to drying wood. I get that. I was just being a smartass about my wife having both.

Chillin' in the wood shop again tonight. My table top board was checked on one end just a little from age and sitting in the sun. I glued it and clamped it earlier this evening. The glue is dry now and kind of shrunken into the crack so I think I'll put more on and leave it overnight. A little bit of sanding on the glue tomorrow and then I'll seal it and it will be ready for legs.

I watch the Woodwright's Shop on pbs all the time. guy is really good. there use to be a cabinate company just across the street but they closed .. was cool cause I always had little scrap wood for building bird houses and houses for my guinea pigs and bunnies.

 

I don't watch much tv but I like the woodshop kind of shows. I also like This Old House and the other shows like it. I mostly watch PBS. I don't have cable but I get 3 PBS channels. The number 3 PBS channel is something like PBSWorld. That channel has lots of cool shows.
