Anyways... The concept of one of last nights posts that went poof.

I won an eBay auction the other day for a new set of 12" rims to use on the back of the Cub Cadet... I have no tires.

I also got the second nearly new tire off those old John Deere rims last night to use on the front of the Cub Cadet... I have no wheels.

    :wall:

When it's all said and done I'm converting a "lawn tractor" into a Garden Tractor... Cub made a GT into a lawn tractor by putting smaller wheels on it. I'ma reverse the process...

Erin and I have the exact same feelings on this!

Of course, since learning of her I've thought she is brilliant. :)

and it only took being covered in dog shit to do it! :D

I was very upset that day....even though I can laugh about it now....
Anyway....i am more comfortable with Sabrina now....so moving to the other side of the path at times is no longer an issue.... ;)

    I'm all mushy.

I miss another time and other people.

    I'd cry but I can't.

    The tears are stuck.

What the hell hits us sometimes, from out of the blue, when we're busy trying to live today?

Put the spacers on the WoodRat... Wide back tires clear the fenders now. Baddazz!

Before that I did some rust and "paint" removal on the Cub Cadet mower deck... I really, really, need a welder. Really!

No yard work today. Was kinda chilly and windy today and other things were happening. I've been missing most of the rain that's been hitting all around here. It's not "dry" but for springtime there's been a low amount of rain right here. Rototiller... Now there's something else I could use... Just sayin'

Specs was up for the morning and we had pizza for lunch... Always good when she visits.

I just found some more cedar boards under my deck. When I took out the other ones last week I was thinking I had more and that there should have been more of the better grade that was all cut to a uniform size (1x8s I think). Then I discovered these and remembered that I separated them and stacked the really good ones in a different spot because all of the wood wouldn't fit in either spot alone. I think I'm going to dig those out of there.

I also think I've decided to build a second, smaller kiln and keep it at my house. I figured out a couple of things we've been doing wrong lately, with no offense to my friend and co-owner, I don't think he's going to stay on top of it and monitor/adjust things the way it needs to be done. He's just busy and doesn't care about milling very much. He does it once in a while when someone hires him. I never do it for hire and I don't want to drive out there all the time to check the kiln so if I build a smaller one at home, I can just dry my own personal stuff in it and keep it the way it needs to be. It will work well for my own stuff. Then he can do whatever he wants with the big one.

    No heart damage done.

    Three stints placed.

    Good to hear.

This reminds me....this happened a couple of weeks ago....I have a friend whose dad is 83, has all sorts of issues and is dying. Hospice is involved at this stage. One of his issues is heart problems. My friend is 38 and his brother is 50 so just to be safe, his brother went and got his heart checked out. I guess there are two tests he had done. They called him after the first test came back and said he looked good. He went in on a Thursday and they called him on the following Friday. Then they called him back later on Friday when the second test result came back and told him he had major problems. They pulled some strings and he had open-heart surgery first thing on the following Monday morning.

Crazy! Thursday morning he's sitting at his desk working....a few days later he's having open-heart surgery. They said it could be hereditary so my buddy is going to get tests done too but he's waiting until after his dad passes away.

Hubby is telling me that my brother's heart attack now becomes part of my medical info. Great. I don't want to tell the doc and have them want to send me for all kinds of tests.

My brother said he had no chest pain to speak of...maybe a few twinges...More than anything he knew he didn't feel right. He was a little nauseated, had a little cold sweat, had some pains running up and down the backside of both his upper arms, and one of his jaw joints felt sore. Mostly, he just didn't feel "right" so he asked his boss to take him to the emergency room.

    Oh My!!!

I'm so glad he's going home soon, and there was no damage.

But 3 stints sounds like a sort of big deal to me.

    Blessed be.
