When I have a heart attack it had better take me out right then and there... no time for this "slow down and take it easy" crap, with a bazzlion dollar medical bill on top of that.

i went in for ecg and nitro less than a week ago,, q wave on the ecg was off and they wanted me to stay for a while, about 90mins the meds kicked in and I was ok.. I was feeling lots of pain in the shoulder , but I write it off being normal. But I know better not to think its normal to have a pain like that.... to the hospital I go..

 

I am so sorry about your brother, Ari..but am glad he is ok....cripes...you get a lot to deal with also, don't you?

Yep, I know....saw a bit about factory farming earlier and I am pretty damn disgusted with humanity at the moment.....between the tears for the animals....so maybe I will come back when i am in a better mood.

 

All this talk about medical stuff....I'll admit something to you guys.

I'm not being totally honest with my family. I think I'm in great shape but my dad died in his mid-50's. I've put together a financial plan under the pretense of retiring early and having the house, etc. paid off. It looks nice on paper but that isn't really the reason for the plan. That's what I tell my wife and kids. If I live that long...perfect. But the plan is in place in case that doesn't happen. Ideally, either I retire early and have very minimal bills or I die early and they have minimal bills and can keep their lifestyle. It's important to me that my family never has to go through what I did growing up but I also don't think they need to know my real reasons right now.
