i've never found underwear that was comfortable. i forget when i gave up trying and just stopped wearing any. i think i must have still been in my 20s. so that would make it around 40 years ago.
no, this isn't about sex. its about comfort. and comfort is about enjoying life.

and speaking of life. i can do almost anything if i don't have to. and almost nothing if i do. this isn't a choice. its what's wrong with my head.
i thought it was something i would grow out of when i became a legal adult. didn't happen.
i thought for sure i would by the age of 40. still didn't happen.
    now i'm 67 and it still hasn't.

if i don't know how to do something, i love figuring things out and learning. as long as i don't have to.

don't hate me for it. or do. neither changes it.

wrong might be the wrong word. is something "wrong" if it just is?

i'm hoping we've entered an age when people begin to realize it isn't.

Hmm...maybe I wasn't very far off then. Are there any distinguishing features that would tell you that?

The logo and the styling of the top cover. In the 50's Delta went with an art deco logo

Ah...I see. Mine is actually missing that name plate and only has a serial number otherwise. So I had to just look through a bunch of pictures to figure out what brand and model it is. The serial number wasn't very helpful by itself. But the one in the pic I posted is the same brand and model. And it looks smaller in the pic but it's almost as tall as I am. It's a pretty good sized drill. I can see how someone might use it to work on train parts.

She was serious. The DJ's were trying not to laugh but I also watched the follow-up interview with her which happened after she realized how silly she sounded.

Styling would have changed along with the logo... If yours has that top cover it would have had that old logo

Thanks man. I kind of had a feeling that you would know something about this. I figured either you or Spaceman would have some insight here.

Why don't they ever make athletic bras in pale yellow?
Those things that are tops all by themselves and where you want the pretty color band peeking out of your tops?
Why don't they make alot of things in colors they don't make alot of things in?
what does one have to special order things?

I am always looking for something in a color no one ever has.

That's almost identical. Same color and everything but the 1945 model (post #6 in the thread you linked) looks like a winner. Very minor differences on that main shaft that the table moves up and down on. But that piece that looks like a gear rides on it is movable so maybe they are basically the same and just set up differently. But....close enough for me. 1945 it is. Thanks guys. :)
