me too...i'm back....village is 8 minutes at the speed limit....ive done it in 4 ........some dude has his camper set up right on the shoulder of te highway....he must not have been able to get it over the grass.....I saw him last night....pick up and collaspseable camper and he was trying to back over the ditch and through 3 foot tall grass.....dumb fuck should have driven in straight forward he would be in thre already....instead he jammed it into the ditch and just set it up there

 

Finally, we're going to get back out and take in some softball today.

When you work in a hospital E.R., it's shocking what people have sex with.

 

I am having a hard time not calling my mom and having a pretty stern conversation with her about my grandpa. I'm not going to do it but I'd like to.

Our brains work completely differently. Grandpa is going to die. That's it. There's nothing wrong with that. He's been laying in the hospital on machines since April 4th. It would be a gift if he was at least unconscious for most of it but he isn't. He can't have food or water. He doesn't watch tv. He continually pushes the button for the nurses because he's still a little ornery and it's something to do....and he hopes they will give him something to drink. He lays there and he waits. What do you think he's waiting for?

He signed a "Do Not Resuscitate" order. I and my wife and kids are the only people who visit him besides his own wife. We are the only family he has left (and my mom, of course...who lives in another state). Now I see her posting online about how she is on her way...fueled with anger over the idea that he wasn't mentally capable to make the decision to sign the order...and fueled by the prayers of her friends that she may, with the help of god, be victorious in her quest to rescind the order. What the fuck is the matter with her?

I can tell you, first hand, that he is fully capable of making that decision. There is nothing wrong with his mind at all. Sure...I wish he would just stand up and walk out of there too...but he won't and he wants to die. They damn well better respect his fucking decision!

I wish I could tell her that but I won't. She will be emotional and a mess. I get that. I feel terrible for her. I don't want to lose him either but trying to keep him under these circumstances is simply selfish. I know that changing her course of action and her reactions will be impossible so I won't try. She's going to go there today and try to raise all kinds of hell with the staff. Hopefully, it will be futile. I will go there tomorrow and quietly tell them that I firmly believe that he was mentally capable of signing the order and to please respect his wishes. I will see him tomorrow and I hope it will be to say goodbye....for his sake.

Now that's a rant, huh?

 

And then my mom and my grandpas wife always wonder why he never listens to their advice and absolutely always listens to my advice...even if it's the same advice. They don't listen and they don't think things through.

I'm sure it's his wife....who has at least mild dementia. She didn't want him to sign the DNR order either. Even knowing that, he still signed it. I respect that.

Good point. I'm not sure which is worse....a young lady fantasizing about sex with grandma or vice versa.

A number of years ago on a different board I used to post on, a fairly well-known member had a break-up and decided to drunk post a bunch of naked pics of his ex, POV pics of him screwing her in both holes, getting blow jobs, etc. Super hot Jewish girl. Well, he was hammered and meant to take the pics down but he forgot he posted them and left the next morning on a business flight. So the pics stayed up until he checked back on the board and saw the thread. It was a glorious thread but some serious shit went down. Some lurker just happened to work with her sister. He told her...she told her sister. The ex and I think possibly her mom got log-ins for a brief time. Lawyers contacted the site owner, etc. Epic melts! All of that could be staged but when the site owner verifies it all....probably legit.

I just went crazy with the power washer.....did my porch and sliding doors....front walk.....recycling bins...grow bins....car.....a table i'm selling and a chair I was hired to do stripe art on for a kids birthday

Coincidentally, I just sprayed down the back deck a bit ago. But I don't have a power washer. Damn chickens shitting on the deck! We're having a party tonight so I'd like the deck to be chicken shit free for the occasion.

 

I have the shit on the deck also.....my chickens spend a lot of time under the deck eating anything that moves.....not many crawling insects anywhere near the house but a couple come on the deck to lay their babies right to my kitchen door.....3 feet from my frying pan as the crow flies....several others come up there just to try and steal bad cats food
