I was a mod on a different board and we just made posts invisible (or whole threads). That way, the posts were still there for future reference or if they were made invisible by mistake....we could make them visible again.

 

when I was a mod on a different board we would round up the bad posters during the night and beat them with phone books.....sometimes we accidentally killed them if they also used bad grammar

some get hidden right where they are...some get moved to a hidden area

some are just crap and get deleted...but even deleting doesnt mean they are gone for good...im pretty sure admin has us set to soft delete

I should say...I was actually an admin but I usually didn't do anything in the admin panel besides just look around and check it out. So basically, I was a mod.

 

we dont make mistakes here so thats not a problem

 

We had a few too many cooks in the kitchen and some of them were biased. We also had a site owner who was really wishy-washy on things. It was kind of a mess. Not very well run and plenty of drama. I just gave up after a while.

 

yeah we dont have that problem here either

I've said this before but....I am often reminded, usually around this time of day, that I am completely spoiled by having married a woman who is a great cook.....like....really, really great. Even one of my best friends who is a chef eats dinner with us once in a while and he'll say something like "Holy shit! This is incredible!" And then comes the conversation about how it was made, etc. I don't pay much attention to that. Too busy eating. Better food at home than I can get in any restaurant in this town. And much cheaper and healthier.

And she's pretty easy on the eyes too so....bonus!
