This hen is one of my favorites....look at her disgusting beak.....the top curves way off and doesn't align with her bottom ......doesn't seem to bother her much


she was born that way...it wasn't some kind of tractor accident

 

i couldn't type fast enough

 

does the chicken have trouble eating? ..

no...not at all.....she is right there beside the others foraging from dawn to dusk....

chickens do a similar thing as woodpeckers in that they walk around pecking the ground every couple seconds n a new spot to cause a bug or worm to move and then they eat the bug or worm....they also will peck the walls of their coop and any low stuff to get the bugs to come out just like the woodpeckers do....that hen is already 3 years old...been eating just fine...lays big honkin' eggs

I think that song is pretty decent but I like this version more. A woman with this kind of voice is incredibly sexy just because of her voice. I hope I spent a past lifetime having sex with women who sounded just like her......that's not creepy, right?

Just went in the house and killed about 50 bugs with the electric bug zapper thing. My wife leaves the back door open all day, so of course, the bugs fly in...and then she killed a dozen or so of them on the ceilings....brand new ceilings with brand new paint. Do not smear them up with bugs!! If she didn't feed me so well......

my pooch has barely moved all day.
he wouldn't eat or drink anything so I went to the store and bought some chicken drumsticks and have been making him chicken soup. :chef:
It worked, he has now drank/eaten three drumsticks, half a breast and about 8 cups of broth.
I feel horrible for him as he is obviously having a lot of joint pain. He couldn't even get up to come and get some cheese, and he looooves cheese. I had to bring the food right to him and he was at least able to lift his head to eat.
Now that he as something in his belly he is doing a little better, but still pretty sick.
from what I've been reading it is relatively safe to give him buffered baby aspirin.
I mean he weighs 90 lbs so basically the same size as a kid.

anyone here ever try it?

 

Yup. We broke the last one because a couple of my band mates and I got a little drunk and started chasing each other around the house smacking each other with it. Good times!

 

I hope he gets better. Chicken certainly must raise his spirits.

yup, chicken, fish and cheese are his faves.

I'm pretty sure it's just a cold, but it's kickin' his ass for sure, he didn't even budge when the mail came and he usually goes absolutely Cujo psycho for the mailman.
If he isn't showing improvement by tomorrow afternoon we are going to the vet most likely.
