1. The Hipforums announces it first ever fundraiser. After nearly 30 years online, we must ask our members and guests to help support the website. Thanks to years of ongoing financial support of our members, advertisers and volunteer admin staff, we have been able to keep the forums alive.

Now we must ask for help as available funds have all been used for our Internet server and other fees.

So please donate any amount to our PayPal account donate@Hipforum.com to keep the site going. If we can get enough for a few months fees, we won't need to nag you again!

Mowed the new field. (which is mostly weeds) and met a rather large Wolf Spider at the back gate... Like 3" around. I have a gate guard...

When I mow this field there's several wildflowers and tree seedlings that I mow around, Oak, Cottonwood, Tulip Poplar. There's patches of Wild Daisy. Mullein, and a few other uncategorized herb/wildflower/stuff... So it's not all "weeds" and it's not just straight line cut all the shit down. Still have to plant my own trees too. Need some evergreens...

If the rain holds off and things dry out more I'll do some more mowing this afternoon.

The plan is... I'm going to reforest about 2/3 of this field which is a little over an acre. I'll never get to see it as a forest except in my mind.

Back when I was doing autobody some guy picked up his car and was bitching about the bad work I did where the right quarter panel met the roof.... I had replaced the left quarter panel, never touched the right side of the car. Fucking moron was looking at factory work that had been there all along.

One truck --dead. Another-in the shop. And yet another-in the shop. 3 trucks down at the same time! Work piling up. The boys need people who can actually WORK!

Such is life in the wonderful world of roofing. This too shall pass.
