You really have to plan ahead, man. I never have this problem with my system. Plus, I have a bunch of different IPA's saved up just in case. :)

Random thought of the night.....a name everyone should know is Edward Bernays. Very few people seem to know who he is but he's probably the most influential person in the last 100 years....in the entire world. Considering his mark on society, even today...it's remarkable that the average person on the street has no idea who he is and that is a testament to just how right and effective he was. Hint: nephew of Sigmund Freud and inventor of public relations....which is an acceptable term to replace the word "propaganda".

I could probably do that because I have extra empty Frigidaire. But Ive another person here that would drink em just as much as I would. might not be a good idea ..

Seems public relations did nothing for his name recognition....

I have that too because I've brought her to the "dark side" with IPA's but she doesn't usually drink my beer and I don't usually drink hers. She handles her own business. :)

His idea wasn't name recognition...at least not publicly. He made a lot of money privately but it wasn't important to him to be famous to the average person. That ran counter to his ideology. He is very much responsible for the society and economic environment we live in today.....for better or worse. I mean...he did have a valid point but he's the grandfather of social engineering in a way that even he couldn't have imagined.

Different avenue that made me feel pretty good a little while ago....

Someone on FB (I'm really not on there but my wife is) made some random post about a house she saw. She said (I quote...caps included) "I just saw the most BEAUTIFUL house at <insert location>. The stained glass work is GORGEOUS and the "drive-up" appeal is to die for".

Someone else said "Oh...that's my friend <insert name> house" and tagged my wife.

That's my house! That's kind of what I was going for though. I wanted to take a house this old and make people say "Damn!" I also wanted to make the city inspectors and general contractors who told me it wasn't worth fixing...eat their fucking words. What do those fuckers think now? I bet they don't think I should tear it down. But...in all fairness...it's almost completely new. It only looks old.

But that really kind of made my night. We've been through a lot in the last 6 or 8 months and it's nice that some random person recognizes that effort.

And I should mention...inspectors don't always understand old construction and contractors (justifiably) don't want to deal with it. But this is a house from the 1860's...in a historic area...that should be saved. It might not be the best house from that era but we saved it and it looks good enough that people regularly stop and take pictures of it. It happens all the time. We spent a few bucks but it was money well spent to preserve a piece of history.

I've got a friend who does that with the urban houses in Atlanta.

They look so good when he's done!

    These are craftsman style.

I need to do something today other than take The Mother places; but I feel just as lazy as a pig in the sun.

Pigs in the sun look very satisfied and happy also. :)

    edit: I'm just lazy though.

Every dude should master the art of the Saturday morning, 30 minute full-body massage. Know it, love it, live it.

Just take my word on this....seriously.
