I went outside and worked less than 1 1/2 hrs, and not even what is considered real work...dear God, I had to come in...

I sweat so bad and it was going in my eyes so bad, I just couldn't see.

my lue sky arrived but I have work to do in the coop and its a mudbath over there....plus I need chicken feed since yesterday....damn birds are following me around hoping for crumbs....I cant step out my door without ten hens hounding me

Hubby, who procrastinates about making doctor appointments, has started making them so hard and fast that we've come up with $5 in the bank until the 3rd.

One would think he has suddenly decided to care about himself.

He went to the neurologist and the urologist last week.

The neurologist was just a visit to get a letter to his pain doctor telling them it's okay for him to start tramadol again.

He was almost certain the urologist was going to tell him it's time to have surgery to re-do the urostomy. He did an ultrasound and said things looked good.

Yesterday, after my granddaughter showed me the swimsuit she bought for vacation, he suddenly decides to make a call to schedule his colonscopy. He has been putting this off for months. He has to go in for an office visit first. That's going to be on Thursday.

I've already announced, several times, that if he gets sick when it's time for me to go on vacation then he will have to find someone else to take care of him.

I swear ya'll...I think he is trying to find a reason to spoil my trip.

 

trying to head off my next lumber delivery as Ive more lumber to add to the load .. call to get connected and the damn phone keypad wont allow for options to press, it will make the tone, but wont connect. fml, where that damn obama phone?

The girls are going on vacation the week before me. When I'm gone he will have my son and daughter in law right next door. During the day he will have the almost 13 year old and the three 8 1/2 year olds with him during the day. He has to feed the animals and himself. That's all. He will have plenty of help.

It's not like he needs me to be here. He's told me he wants me to go and enjoy it. It's the little fucker in the back of his brain, whispering shit to him, that is trying to find a way to spoil it for me.

 

sold a car part today that id been trying to sell for years (a front diff)

it wasnt needed but came with an engine i bought for $750 ....mounts into oil pan and scrap yard was too lazy to remove it

This will probably be the saddest random fact of this entire thread.....

I just found out that my cousin's daughter's 3 month old baby died. Now I'm not super close to them but it's still family. I asked my other cousin if it was SIDS or something else...trying to think of a possible logical likelihood. She said "The house is being treated as a crime scene. At this point, it seems pretty likely that <cousins daughter> or her husband will be charged".

Holy shit! I don't even know what to say about that. I can't even form an opinion because I don't know enough about it. They live in a different state. Just...wow! Damn!

Here's a random fact: My nephew is in prison because he strangled his girlfriend to death. August will be eight years since it happened. I'm just glad that his daddy and my parents were not alive to know it.

Still, a baby in the case you're speaking about, Wiz... So sad.

My daughter in laws' brothers' baby momma lived in the house where her girlfriend killed her own toddler daughter. It happened in 2014.

That stuff is insane.

Yeah...it sounds pretty crazy. But like I said, I am not close to that particular cousin or his daughter. But I feel bad for my family members who are closer to them. My cousin and I used to be tighter years ago when he moved here but I kind of stepped away from him once I realized how much of a user and slimy person he was. I don't care much for people like him. Coincidentally, his wife was killed in a car wreck when he lived here and it was suspicious to some of the family due to surrounding circumstances. There were a lot of rumors that he got away with killing her. He collected insurance money, stayed long enough to not look like he was on the move and then he took the kids and left the state. So that's why I'm not in close touch with them today.

 

I have much work in the yard to do today......
