I need to start my outside house painting project but there's too much rain forecast for the next week.... Like every other day. No 2-4 days of sun without a rain day stuck in there somewhere.

 

The kid got that possession ticket on Saturday. The cop asked him which Wednesday he would prefer for his court date. He said "The next one." He told me "If I'm not going to be prepared, neither will they". They didn't have the paperwork filed with the court this morning. Case dismissed. Well played, son.

 

im finally caught up with all the people that needed me to fix shit,,,except for one who needs to put the job off until next week or so

now im finally able to start getting my own prjects done



*waits for phone to ring and interupt my plans*

I was bitching that my lumber truck wasnt here yet, I wanted to get some things done.. now its here and gone,, I want to sit and watch Rockford Files..

 

Rockford Files was one of my fav shows (long ago). I wish I could see it now.

I'm putting off getting presentable on any level for public viewing. lordhavemercy gotta go up the road and get some stuff for cat-fleas and stop at the gro store for food.

I like sitting here in my tank top, shorts that don't match with my hair all messy in a half-assed pony-tail/bun thing, and no shoes.

Messing around in my wood shop this afternoon. Trying to decide what to build while practicing on the lathe a bit.

I have friends opening a dispensary here in my city.....I forgot to mention it before....3 weeks away from a referral and buying it at a store

I'm finished painting for the day... Not much done but I'm working on the trickiest part of the house... All these odd angles come together in one area, ground is all uneven for the ladders and there is a huge Juniper right in that corner....


Just love having one foot on the extension ladder and the other on the top rung of the step ladder. Not!

i dont get along well with ladders


seems like gravity gets stronger and stronger the higher i need to be

plus the vertigo still effects me pretty bad ..especially if im near a tree with moving branches (or ground shadows)

 

In truth, I don't do ladders very well... but I have no choice.

 

Cut this Cedar on the table saw this evening. Haven't made a final decision on what to make with it. I'm open to suggestions. It's 2 3/4 in. wide and 3/8 in. thick. Maybe some kind of jewelry/keepsake box for my daughter. I don't know.

 

That happens to me fairly often in the bucket. Not so much when I'm climbing a tree though. I kind of move with the tree while climbing. But in the bucket, you can get the sensation of moving because of the stuff around you moving. Not a fan of that.
