Petey's nose and lots of the underside of his body were pink. I think maybe from rooting out of a fence or something. Also the bottoms of his feet were like scalded from pounding the hot pavement.

He has an open place on his face that doesn't show in the pic. The vet wanted to put a stitch in it but because of the expense my daughter said she'd rather just keep an eye on it.

His has a big scabbed over place on top of his head; and an older long cut on one of his flanks.

 

What a freaking epic practice day! Left work early to practice with band #2 because they usually practice from noon until 6 pm (drummer lives about 4 hrs away). Went home for dinner and then had practice with band #1 from 7:30 to about 10:30.

Good times! I'm telling you guys....I'm going to get the hang of this music thing one of these days!

On a sad note...I found out tonight that the only other band in our genre and in our state who has been around longer than us (band #1) will be calling it quits on Halloween. It will be their last show of their 19 year existence. Our drummer is also the drummer in that band. That will leave us as the last band still playing of the original wave of bands that brought our style to the scene in our state. We've seen many bands come and go but this one is kind of like family to us and it's a real bummer that they are disbanding.

 

That's always sad, Wiz.

 

So, this Dr I saw today. Saw her once last year before going to the local guy (Dr Asshole)... She is also my father's and sister's doc, thus the hour drive to get there. Anyways she started hitting some of the Fibromyalgia pressure points while we were talking about it and I guess my wincing at each one has her pretty convinced she knows what she's dealing with. She's not a specialist but I never had a Dr that even believed in FM before. I guess this also means an official diagnosis...

 

Well...I should say...they were the very first band so maybe they were their own wave but a bunch of bands came right after them. Great bands that I wish I could still see and play shows with today. Not all of them were jam bands but it was a certain scene that bands fit into. It's almost gone now. It's a different scene and the bands and crowds aren't the same. We've managed to hang in there but what we do is different than what a lot of the other bands did. We're very adaptable.

 

That sucks, man. But FM would explain a lot, would it not?

 

Now, what will she do? Prescribe Lyrica?

speaking of that amada peterson star was either overdosing on lyrica or another gaba drug. shes dead. who is she? .. I dont know but tmz knows..

Hubby took extra gaba last night and this morning while waiting on is oxy script to get filled.

He said it made him start getting those jerks like he had when he was getting seizures.

That's nothing to mess around with.

 

lyrica is more likely to be abused if the patient has had drug or alcohol problems in the past

I was on Lyrica but now I'm back on Gaba... Lyrica gives me double vision but it's an option when Gaba stops working... Seriously though, neither of them do much.

my friend here on the island....lets just call her naïve divorcee for today....she has been attempting to grow weed this summer but to limited success..i tried to tell her don't trim your leaves off the plant

but she was convinced trimming leaves allowed more sun to the flowers so she has been trimming and her plants all re-vegged....or tried to re-veg despite the wrong light cycle

when trimming a weed plant during flowering you have to remove a whole branch or the plant will stop flowering properly

so she had 2 massive ak47 plants that she had managed to grow big....5 feet each in pots....

she fucking trimmed off every shade leaf on both plants.....I wanted to cry.i still want to cry.....fully budded those 2 plants were worth easy 2 grand..now they are both shit toast

 

It's my daughters birthday today. I guess there is such a thing as "glamping"....glamorous camping. It requires a father to work all afternoon at transforming the backyard into some kind of little girl wonderland so she and her friends can do all sorts of fun activities while camping in the yard....only to decide later in the evening that it is too hot outside and they would rather come inside in the AC.

But...what are you gonna do? My destiny awaits.

 

I've got firewood to split... It's 90 degrees out.

Pinterest strikes again!

 

The other idea they had was to take a bunch of girls to a hotel with an indoor water park for the night. Thankfully, my wife and daughter said it would have been kind of weird if I went along so I wasn't going to have to go. Had they done that, I would have been home alone for the night so maybe I would have went to the Iowa State game tonight. Instead, I'm sitting in my garage. Maybe I'll go catch the game somewhere later. I don't have cable.
