Dental work without having a dental plan of some sort is one of those so called necessary things that is not affordable for too many. Considering that all medical practitioners also endorse oral health as being important it should be covered for basic work under provincial health plans.

Now is a good time for a nap, which is what I am going to work on. :)

damn cat of mine, Spanky, always comes into the bed with me while I am sleeping and uses his sharp claws to massage me...and this morning he woke me up, as one of his claws punctured under my right eye....and it hurts like hell.....i woke up with the sharp burning pain and angry as hell at him...now, i have to watch for infection, i guess.....very sore....skin is so thin right under the eye.....but I am still singing.... ;)

Is that why he's called Spanky?

I had to get surgery once because of infection by a cat scratch. On the side of my throat. At first everyone thought I had Pfeiffers disease until it was apparent it grew larger on one side. I totally forgot about that cat scratch until that infection was showing (weeks later).

When my daughter was little, she got a kitten scratch near her eye. They doc said to make sure to apply warm compresses to it before the antibacterial ointment. The heat opens things up so the ointment can do it's work better.

I'm so completely fed up with this ankle/foot that feels like it's freshly sprained.

I didn't do anything to cause this!!! :/

I walk where I have to in the house and to sit on the front porch. I haven't done any cleaning, shopping, etc.

I'm just really pissed about this.

    Carry on.

Back when our national healthcare plan was first being implemented, we were supposed to eventually get dental care (and eye care), but it never ended up actually happening....

I know like spaceman said that dental is covered if done in the hospital but I have never known anyone who had it done there. I had a friend who was at the point of being almost septic from an impacted molar and was told to go to a dentist.

I think for anything not cosmetic it should be at least partially covered. So fillings, cleanings, rays and extractions. Eye care should also be funded past the eye exam as well.

Spanky is good, too. It is his way of touching and showing affection,. He meant no harm....I took a photo of him awhile ago on the bed with Finnegan, another cat, but I don't know how to get it out of my camera to download on my computer....i plug camera into my computer and some pop up keeps saying no new photos found in this device, and blocks the other thing that says i can upload the photos, as when I x the block up pop up out it gets rid of the other pop up, too, that is behind it....so I am lost as to how to get my photos out of my apple phone...have been trying at least 45 mins here and am frustrated at the moment.. Any ideas?

i'm having the same problem since I switched to windows 10....iTunes works but my photos wont upload.....my pop-up says ''click to decide what happens with this device''....or something....you click it and it just frikking vanishes and the phone wont list as a device anywhere....same withmy camera

I emailed the picture from my phone to myself and then opened the email on my laptop where I could right click on it and save it pictures

Has there been any difference with the new medication? I am sorry to read how much trouble you are having with this and I can understand the frustration for sure.

    Thanks, Heather.

I can't tell that there is any difference one way or the other.

On an ordinary day I'll be able to tell but the ibuprofen wasn't working that well with this flare up so the fact that I'm still hurting is not really an indication that the new stuff is failing.

Hubby gave my a 10mg oxy. That helps a good bit with this. It's not gone but I can function.

    How are you feeling?
