My friend stopped by on Friday and has decided to file for divorce. Kind of sad but it is probably the right thing for her to do given how she feels. So now I know what she wanted to say when she called last week. Life does move on and all.

This morning Lace was enjoying a quiet time curled up in her bed and Celeste decided it was time to wake her back up. Then the both figured a stroll around the kitchen was a good idea.

My day has just been made.

 

I have severe cloudage and a wall of rain approaching from the north and blue sky and fluffy clouds on the south....i'm stuck in the middle with you

 

managed to surprise my grandson....and grand daughters.....oldest is in that stage where kids get and they sing along to every song on the radio and change radio stations like I blink......one drake song to another....no drake....I wont be calling you on your cell phone....as a matter of fact....right now if I saw you i'd kill you with that cellphone....I t would be ''grandfather beats rapper to death with cellphone''...all over the news

 

the good synthetic diesel oil was on sale...but still $40 ffs....

 

Vacuuming leaves today.

 

I bought 2 chicken breasts boneless at out general store...they sell organic free range etc...slightly more expensive.....so I get home and look and I paid 23.66 for 3 pounds.......that seems excessive, ...how much is chicken in the states....not the rendering plant chicken...the butcher shop chicken?

roughly the same after exchange rate

 

that's what I was thinking....I know it is half that at the budget place but I just don't trust mass produced any more

I had a big boo hoo last weekend when I was getting pics out to hang on my wall. It's a long story but I came to understand that hanging the pics of my deceased loved ones is part of my healing. I feel good with them on the wall behind my desk. It took a few days to work through emotions but it feels good now.

Making my first ever pie with the last of our apples. I even used the whirly kitchen thingie with no mishaps. My girlfriend held a pie crust class for me while she was visiting. She wrote everything down in a Pie Crust for Dummies cheat sheet.

We'll see in about 45 minutes. I'm calling that apple pie my birthday cake. This way I don't have to learn how to make cake, too. Frippen' birthday is in a couple of days. I think I should ask myself out and take me to the casino. Yep.

At any rate.. there will be pie! (fingers crossed)
