That's very true. It's a curse I tell you!

This one isn't too bad, just a little bit sore on my shoulders. But, I got a wee bit of colour for the year

 

I managed to avoid working so far today

 

i'm bored as hell

 

I just had some barbecued chicken..I hate the way chicken tatstes on the barbecue..I forgot that and now I remember it

 

I am not sure what to have for supper yet.....I ate lunch way to late....;-)

 

i like almost anything on a bbq....grilled zucchini...mmmmmm

 

I started eating some leftover salmon yesterday and it had already started going bad. It's the first time I've ever tasted rotten fish.uke:

 

That could be a case of TMI!!!...;-) Now I am totally not hungry....;-(

 

I just got back from helping my mother move a camping trailer back to one of the farms I grew up on... While out there, I took the opportunity to go look at places I hung out as a kid...

what a mistake...

There was this trail when I was a kid, I'd ride my bike 3 miles to a steep trail that led down to the bottom of a waterfall... it was amazing... absolutely gorgeous.... there was a natural staircase up one side that brought you to the top where there was this awesome sunning rock and a pool off to the side that was actually fairly warm from the sun heating the rocks...

Now... theres a gravel road right to where the falls were. Everything up top is covered with water, and the only waterfall is the one going over the dam....

 

oopps..sorry.

 

ha ha .....I will get over it....But might just skip the salmon tonight..

 

i decided on ricotta stuffed chicken and mashed potaters

 

I just sold that truck camper for $50 more than I paid ...plus I kept the 3 way fridge..the two burner stove and the propane furnace

 

I wish I could horse trade like BBAD....;-)

That sucks. There used to be some woods where I used to play as a kid with huge fir trees, a small creek and trails. It was a magical place. Just recently a house was built on the land and all the trees were clear cut.

It's amazing to think that where I live now used to be old growth forests just 100 years ago. Now there's nothing left. One stump near my house growing up measured 13 feet in diameter.

My childhood places are still the same. Apart from the Rhinos in the park, I miss sitting on those
