Yeah, I have wanted to go there for years, but every time I planned to it didn't work out. I've been to French Polynesia before, but Bora Bora just looks like a special place.

    Hey TipsyGypsy....

    Are you completely insane?

I don't mean that in a bad way, just that isn't this like the 39th plan to do something different?

Haha I know - I have so many ideas, it takes me a while to go through them :D I still want to climb Everest and live in the jungle :D

But we have actually booked this one, it will be a romantic break for us.

There's too many exciting things in the world for little old me. So many things I want to do, I always find different places I want to travel too.

living in the jungle I totally can feel... climbing everest?? not a chance. While out at the farm yesterday, I climbed to the top of a granite outcropping, it's between 4 and 6 acres of granite that pushes up out of the ground about 100 feet or so... damn near killed me climbing around it... lol everest WOULD kill me.

I have never climbed anything similar to Everest. I have done a few in Scotland which are only about 4,500 feet and Kilimanjaro which is about 15,000 feet. But there is something about being on top of the highest point in the world that makes me want to do it.

Hey, Kilimanjaro is almost 20,000 feet. Don't short change yourself:D

I'd like to climb Mt. Ranier some day just for the experience of seeing nothing but ice and sky and feeling like it's the top of the world.

Have you heard of socks? They're long pieces of material for your feet - to keep them warm. :D

I actually have 2 pair of socks on right now and one of them is wool, but I work a lot outside and it's rainy and cold. Maybe I need to do some jumping jacks or something to get the blood flowing.:D
