rf: I'm off sick from work at the moment with a heavy cold, feel a bit wimpy being off with
just a cold, but my excuse is I have to drive and use machinery, so not a good idea
to feel dopey at work

 

My weekend started yesterday afternoon.

 

cereal, toast,strawberries.....off to school with a stop at hogtown cure.....some hippie bakery the kids want me to get croissants from

 

Croissants leave such a mess. Or is that just me

 

you are not alone in that. I have given up on eating them without having to stand up and wipe the crumbs off of my shirt and pants after.

 

turns out the hippies don't get up early enough to open the hogtown cure for the croissant crowd....but right beside it was a massive kinda upscale place called the brazil bakery.....so I went in and a lovely girl sold me three of the biggest croissants ive ever seen

 

confession....kids took me to a donut place yesterday....gloryhole donuts.....they make specialty donuts....4 donuts was 13 dollars but damn were they ever good.....place was almost sold out but mine was called toast and butter.......my goodness....best donut ive ever tasted

They actually call them "glory hole" ? hahahaha

My bird feeders unthawed so I filled them with goodies yesterday. I get up this morning and its snowing hard but I have at least 25 birds on my two feeders. I swear I though they were going to break the pole they are on! They was some hungry birds!!

the tub here at my daughters is one of those tiny ones...my 8 yr old barely fits in it....basically to stand in and have showers......I looked at the 3 to 4 feet of caulking and thought...''I will redo that for my daughter because it needs replacing badly''


damn....once you start peeling the old stuff off you kinda have no choice but to keep going


I should have bought that caulking removal tool instead of being a cheap old cuss

any tips?

When my daughter was little...maybe 5 or 6, she was having problems with nose bleeds and allergies. I took her to an ENT to get checked out.

He looked at her and asked, "Know what the biggest cause of nose bleeds are?"
She shook her head no and he lifted his pointer finger in the air.

She looked up at his finger...then said, "God?"

 

lol....that's hilarious
