And I'll tell ya something that's really helped me. I developed a good sense of "Fuck it!". Really. I used to spend a lot of time worrying about all sorts of things and I was stressed out all the time until I realized "Can I do anything to change this right now? Yes? Then do it. No? Then fuck it. It will be what it will be and I won't worry about it until I can do something about it".

Obviously that's not the right attitude for every situation but it's made my life a lot less stressful. Even in one case a long time ago....my wife made a very big mistake and it wiped out almost every dime we had. She was a mess....crying....worrying about me being pissed....worrying about what we would do, etc. I just hugged her and told her to forget about it. It would be ok.....and we're ok. Everything worked out. Nobody died. Everything will be ok.

We're almost home! Things are starting to feel normal again. Just have to make it through the final stretch. I can't wait to be back home. After moving around more than an Army kid when I was younger.....I've been in that house for nearly half my life. I love that house. As much as I want to move to the west coast or wherever....that house is home to me. So close...

Talking about never leaving a house, a home. I know I will never leave this house...not to move to the west coast where I not only have relatives but also a close dear friend lives in Oregon...not anywhere. They all have asked numbers of times to just visit; but I don't even want to do that. I know...silly.

This is the haunted then , not now home I grew up in.

I have an animal cemetery.

If I could, I'd just as soon be put in a box and buried out there one day, but I know that is unrealistic.

I did move away and even had another life for 13 1/3 yrs; but came back here to where I swore to God and all that was holy I'd never come back to live...I shoulda known better.



I know this is where I should be though...of that, I have no doubt.

wouldn't do any good without enough people to inspect everything coming in. would certainly create plenty of jobs if enough people were hired to do so. something i find unlikely to happen on the face of it. in ANY political climate.
