A friend and bartender left everything and went to south america for 6 months, and almost didn'ty come back. He got home sick though.

Yeah Broony, with a job like yours it seems like drifting around some populated tourist towns could really work. You could work and play in a location and then move on to a new one.

 

My stepson did this for a little while.

 

When i have these 3-4 day spells where i get depressed, i always want to leave the country. Its hard to say why...but i feel as if i have been working to set myself up for something liks this a long time. Its just a matter of when. Ive said before, got no kids, or debt, or payments, just rent...so i am always itching to leave.. I just have to work on teaching myself language basics now cause i dont have any for when i arrive.

My grandparents come from the Azores, and no i would not go to portugal. It would be the Azores, or a part of South America, that speaks portuguese as their fluent language.

Life is too short to not do everything you can to make yourself happy.

 

I just have to have all the pieces set up and ready. I plan my every move as best as i can plan each step i take. This would be such and undertaking. I would tell close family im leaving in 12 months, and i don't know how long ill be gone.

Then when i feel everything is ready.
