How many watts each?

I like to drive fast too. I have a long record of speeding tickets. None for the past few years, tho. I've learned to watch for cops better.

 

350 each, and it doesn't seem like much, but i tell you they put out... I really don't have any reason to get more power out of speakers unless im doing daily gigs. I would feel just fine though if i did gigs often. My speaker wire is 12guage, and i can have them 100feet away from each other pointing to the center outside and have plunty of power.

I have never taken them over 65 70% of their potential. For most people in a 2 bedroom house, 700 watts its plunty. It was a good investment and im happy with them, and i have gone through..oh man...5 or 6 pairs of speakers in the last 10 years.

Plus i can hook them up to my tv and anythign else for movies n such.

 

Your own surround sound system. Yeah, I'd say 350 apiece is plenty. The only advantage to having that much power in an apartment is that you get high-quality sound even at lower volumes. For parties obviously all that power gets you higher volume.

So you make much money doing DJ gigs?

I listen to almost everything on headphones. I can blast my own eardrums out without bothering the family or neighbors.

 

Ive never made a single dollar doing a gig, cause i dont ask for money out of it. For one, i don't go looking for gigs, cause i have a job, and my music is a hobbie. If a friend asks for me to play some music for the afternoon for him/her at a party ill always do it for free. Its all good cause ill get passed any joint/bowl or mind altering substance i want for free all afternoon, and ill make some friends. I don't ask for money.

If i didn't have a job, then things would be different.

Back in those days they didn't even have plastic gloves to shake off the clients' dicks - they had to wear the same cotton ones for client after client. It was a big problem before the days of antibiotics.

 

OMG, my daughter is going off on my grandson. Her dog has been bad all day. Her son is being a 5 year old shit. She came home from work with a headache and the boy is messing with her bad. Lots of yelling. I'm running away from home...or getting out the bottle of wine.

My late mother-in-law, God rest her soul, claimed that she had traced her ancestry all the way back to Adam. I never saw those charts...but she sure had a lot of other charts.

She said she was descended from Charlemagne...but that's not much of a trick. Half of Europe nowadays is descended from him one way or another.
