we had lots of snow

and then ice rain...then more snow

i just plowed the end to get the car out..will plow it all clean when it warms up a bit

 

It's blowing a gale here, it's official! So noisy I can't sleep!

Noticed a few things flying around the garden, oh well, should sort the dead leaves from the good ones..

Started collecting some seed pods in today! Gardens gonna look mighty pretty in summer! Lol!

 

Sun shines bright... air is brittle cold! Brass monkey has frozen balls!

today was nice so i plowed the yard

hare is hanging out all day in the backyard next door (place is vacant)

also seen woodpeckers and black squirrel today...and lots of mouse tracks

 

There are 7 deer laying down under the Pine tree in the side yard...

 

too many houses and traffic around here for that

we get bears a lot in the yard but moose and deer tend to stay on the outskirts (which isnt far)

 

Apparently, there has been an old nag peering in windows around here. Oh, and, it's not a horse. LOL

 

I am so ready for spring....

 

Today, I finished a piece of work - witch - I had been working on -

 

My witch has an itch but which itch should the itchy witch itch.

 

Just confirmed, the boys are coming to stay next week.. I just know it's going to be fun..
Also X daughter in law is having a baby girl.. boys are thrilled..
I so pleased for them all.. feels a bit strange, wonder what the boys will think about me not being her nana?

Home alone tonight....

 

I can NOT get my POXY Mac Pro to update to High Sierra #sigh# ...so I'm staying with Mountain Lion.

 

Well I have a cold, been coughing so much my ribs hurt...

 

Sometimes I wonder if we would have advanced so far technologically if we had the rectum of a bird. I mean who wants to be in a room with computers after Einstein just shit himself.

mix of wild ruffed grouse and spruce grouse....the spruce is so dark it looks like tender beef steak

fried up in butter with some mrs dash spice and fresh ground pepper.....just letting it rest a bit before i eat it...

 

The little people go home Sunday.. im going to miss them..

Thinking about it makes me sad, and they haven't gone yet..how mad am I? Lol
