I went over to visit Ty yesterday. As I was driving down the driveway to the house I saw a group of six deer that hang out around there. Later after lunch they came back behind the house. We also saw a bluebird probably wondering how it got so cold after the previous day's 70's. For the most part it was a cold, cloudy and windy day. I always enjoy visiting there because it is so peaceful.
Deer just headed over the hill behind the house... They were sleeping in the backyard again last night.
you should have been told it takes at least a week to take effect...they shoot it into muscle not a vein...it takes a while to get through your body.....ive never caught the flu in at least 20 years since starting the shot you are an intelligent guy asmo....i hope you didnt jusge the flu shot on that one time where you were likely infected too close to the shot for it to help...there is just as much evidence the shot works as the vaccine argu\ment i fear getting a cold off someone elses jpoint...i try to politely decline when passed doobs but sometimes i'm out of wweed and a doobie my way is welcome.....most times lol....i still decline anyone ive seen wiuth herpes..... i keep track of who i have seen with bad cold sores
I don't judge how it works on others, just how it worked on me. But I admit, I never went to get a flu shot again. But partly because I hate the waiting rooms just as much
they make it so easy to get a flu shot here......the pharmacist can give them at a drug store..its free..... i have sap boiling outside but it is rest time on account the hoiuse is quiet atm...gotta strike while the iron is hot
I'm so happy to be over the abdominal sickness! It feels so good to be able to bend and move to do what I need to do! I'ma happy girl! :sunny:
the 920 dollars would be weed costs over a 3 month cold but i am guessing i missed a key post cause i have no clue where that number came from
Did you know that Sweet Gum Balls contain the active ingredient in the medication Tamiflu? Specific to the flu, it contains shikimic acid which just so happens to be the active ingredient in a pharmaceutical called Tamiflu. The highest concentration of it is found in the immature seeds inside the green balls, while there is a presence in the leaves and bark. The Cherokee have passed on the legacy of using this tree for combating the flu (they used a tea of the bark). The action of this acid is very interesting in that it prohibits the actual virus from replicating in our body, thus the virus can not live and the duration of the illness and symptoms shorten a great deal. If you’ve ever had the flu, you can attest to wanting it to be over as quickly as possible! http://sweetgumapoth.com/2014/11/02/cold-flu-season-and-sweet-gum-tree/
its saying they dont grow here, yet, some trees were donated to the Shanksville 911 memorial.. not sure the same tree..
