Had a shyt ton more rain last night... I seriously didn't need a shyt ton more rain. I wonder if any more trees fell.



That widowmaker from two days ago fell, which is a good thing. The Walnut that uprooted itself yesterday... I have no Idea how to deal with that. Sad thing is, it was a healthy tree.


Sun is out right now. More rain expected this afternoon.

 

If you want to post some pics (or PM them to me).....I'd be happy to give whatever advice I can over the internet.

 

I noticed this afternoon when coming back home that another tree in the same area is likely going to do the same thing so no photos until after that one falls... The ground is soup right now and wind advisory for tomorrow afternoon.


The first one is tangled in other trees and over the top of a fence... Just to make things more complex. It's also fallen on an adjacent property, so those other trees aren't mine.

Good show, not entirely accurate but good none the less.

Really windy today. I wanted to go kayaking but nobody else wants to go. I might go by myself. Maybe I'll just go to the lake and float around and fish for a while. It's kind of a pain in the ass to go to the river by yourself.

 

Wind started earlier that the "advisory" said it would and it's getting stronger than they were calling for.....

 

I bet the wind we have today will hit you tomorrow evening or so. It's so windy that I didn't even bother trying to go to the lake. Even if I took my larger fishing boat.....it's just so windy that the waves would make your teeth rattle from slapping the boat as you cross the water.

Instead, I went shopping with the girls and got swindled out of all of my money. Like.....I basically gave them the last of my cash and had one dollar left. I gave it to them and told them they might as well have it all. Should have went boating.

 

Nah, that's okay... you can keep it out your way.

 

Took hubby to pop some tags today.

He got a shirt, a pair of jeans, and a pot.

He was cute and his total was just under $20.

RF: There was a pole barn in the process of being built on the knoll about a mile southwest of my place, Very clearly visible from my house and backyard.. As of Friday all the framing and trusses were done. Today?.... well suffice it to say yesterday's winds took it down. It's now a pile of twisted lumber.


I always figured it was a stupid place to build a barn... I wonder if the owner can take a hint.

The abdominal pain is back.

 

I agree. My first time in here is shortly after I wake up at 3 or 4 am. That white is way too bright for sitting in the dark and trying to read anything. My eyes kept tearing up. Impossible to read the black type on the dark purple. Color change is a major fail for me.
