Hubby tilled the garden after he got home for work...

 

i sold a tiller just a few days ago

hurt my back tonight testing a lawntractor out some thing is wrong with swashplate linkage internally and it jumped into full forward on me when i wasnt expecting it

 

That sucks...

I went kayaking this evening instead of tomorrow evening. Took a little time off from work this afternoon to make it happen. Tomorrow is supposed to be much hotter so we wanted our friend to have a more pleasant experience.

 

Also...today I was talking with a customer who was telling me she cut down some small "poison ivy trees". I figured they were just small trees covered with poison ivy and I asked her to show them to me since she left them lay for the leaves to dry and fall off before she will move them. She claimed to have this stuff growing out of control all over the place. I saw them and we had a little polite debate about what they actually were. She insisted they were poison ivy trees and that I needed to be very, very careful walking around them. I told her they were just young Boxelder trees and that I was 100% sure of it. She thought I was wrong so finally, I just grabbed a branch from a fallen tree, ran my hand down it to collect all of the leaves in my hand and then rubbed them vigorously all over my arms. She looked like she was about to shit her pants. I said "I can promise you that this is a harmless tree"

So then I looked at some other things that she thought may be poisonous.....told her they were not and she took my word for it and asked me to not rub them on my arms to prove my point.

 

There was a guy out near Yosemite that was cutting down all his poison oak... At one point he showed me what he was cutting. It was Redbud trees.

Yesterday I got up early early, felt good and exercised. (don't anybody faint) Then in the afternoon I was so entranced with how nice the day was, I went under the low canopy of branches of the linden tree (we had 2 but now there is just the one) and I danced! yep...I did what I call my ballerina dancing, then I did kicking and swinging. Princess came under there with me and she let me know she was questioning my sanity a little; but it was ok. Crazy is fine sometimes.

Then today I have been coughing and its what you call a productive cough (gross, I know). My nose started running a little last night but I didn't think anything of it. During the afternoon it felt like this dang thing has just jumped on down in my chest. :-/

I have the feeling I will be mowing for most of the day...

 

We cut down a small tree the was covered with poison ivy vines, It was hanging over where we ride our 4 wheeler...The grandkids like to reach up and touch the limbs that hang down...So we took it down before they grabbed it...Poison ivy is all over the fence around the farm...We sprayed weed killer a few weeks ago, but we missed some...

 

My girlfriend and I have spit up. We had to part,as she's addicted to counting-ALWAYS,she was counting.

....I wonder what she's up to now.....
