I think I have a fisher to shoot on my property close to the coop...it was just a blur but long and skinny.....explains those 2 missing hens last week

better get it quick those things can massacre the whole coop in minutes

I've never heard of the "fisher cat", so I looked it up.

The most interesting and BIZARRE fact I found was: they mate in April...then WAIT until the following February or March for "egg implantation to take place", and gestation is for (only) 30 days.

so...they just hold that jizz for almost a year before they let that egg to go work??? and then after nature (finally) does it business, a whole little fisher cat is finished in 30 days...

goodnightalive nature is a funny/strange thing

edit: actually they usually have a litter of 3 or 4, so its 3 or 4 fisher cats that develop in only a month. I'm still smh.
