It's beautiful here this morning, lovely and warm - you can sunbathe in the garden :D

I have already been to my yoga class this morning, but still have a poorly stomach. I think I am worrying about things too much and am getting physical symptoms. Rubbish!

This winter past was the coldest England has had in years, and what seemed like the longest. I love the cold and the snow, but am now glad it's past.

After years (7-10?) of not going to see a doctor, I called the medical center where I used to have one.

My old doc is long since gone, but just like that, I have a new doctor... Seems there is no emergency though, I couldn't get in to see him until june...

    June? That's crazy.

I don't often go to the doctor, the last time was when I couldn't walk and had some x-rays, but I never even went back for the results and it sorted itself out. But, I had to go because I needed a sick note for work :D

Not really... when they asked me what it was for, I told them it wasn't a rush. If there was something I needed immediately, I could go in today and see the on call doctor there or if there was an actual emergency, I could go to the emergency room...

People over here go crazy if they can't get an appointment within a week. If I called and was told June, I'd look elsewhere. It's another thing us Brit's aren't fond of.

Chances are, you have more doctors in 100 miles then we have people... lol

I don't much care for them either... which would be why it's been so long since I've been to one....

I have to get some paperwork filled out though, so I have little choice, that was why I said there was no rush for it.

Besides, there is nothing he can tell me that I don't already know... I smoke too much, drink too much coffee and should eat more...

Back home, it's very rural and there aren't too many people. Our doctor was a long drive away. 100 miles is pushing it though - I'll be half way down the UK.

But, it depends over here if it is NHS or private. If it's NHS, you expect to have a wait.
