I had a wonderful late night early morning....getting out of bed to go to the bathroom to pee in my barefeet as usual and step....right into a semi dried pile of mashed potato pug poo....right in between my toes and everywhere...boy, was i angry having to bathe my feet ...and then go clean up floor...when I was so tireed...that all I wanted to do was pee and get back to sleep....LOL

lots is owned by the Crown though ...technically we own it but gave all rights to the queen

the easiest way to get free stuff is to get written permission from whatever company has logging rights and most of them are ok with that as long as we just take the stuff they left behind (which is usually awesome dry firewood)....not everyone is lucky enough to have logging lots nearby though...for me id have to drive an hour and a half into the bush for the nearest logging sites

nice mild morning for a change.....may even head into the city for some errands

 

fairly mild here too, going up to -5 in the afternoon, but we have a snow squall warning, so it is going to get windy and snowy tonight.

I hope that tomorrow stays clear, because we're planning to make the drive south.

 

In Ohio you have to get your dog a license annually. We got the tag yesterday and it is purple. Matches the purple collar I got her 4 years ago when I adopted her.

 

I must go and get mine as well.....I went in October and the lady told me to wait until January because buying one so late in the year was a waste of money.....they are very casual down at the town hall.....the woman working the office grew up in the house i'm in.....

 

I had a piece of fools gold on top of the wood stove...I keep several stones up there for no particular reason other than they get hot and I enjoy picking them up and handing them to unsuspecting family and friends.......I keep them in a spot that usually doesn't get too hot......so......yesterday the dog and I are having a mid morning nap and all of sudden....BOOM.....the fucking fools gold exploded and shot sharp shards of iron pyrite all over the room.....it was very exciting.....I picked up the biggest piece and it immediately melted itself to my finger....ouch

so....mr science....any of you that went further than I in high school?.....why my fools gold explode?

This morning at 7am I drove by the gas station and gas was $1.74. Just back from the park and the price is now $2.10 per gal. Thirty six cents increase in one day. What gives?

target is leaving Canada after a short lived romp over here...

 

I don't think I have ever been to a target.

 

i went the first day they opened

got turned away because it was a pre-opening sale for employees and invite only...basically a fuck you

went back when the lowly public was allowed in and saw nothing special ....never went again

i guess their employees and invites didnt buy enough to keep them in business

 

haha....i'm guessing someone at target is getting a demotion for this fiasco............I too went once.....the prices were no noticeably cheaper than any other store...even sears beat them on the leviis jeans
