where is everyone tonight

 

i'm sure each person is wherever they happen to be. hopefully deriving some pleasure in being there.

if there are interesting people doing interesting things, i can enjoy that. if there isn't, as there usually is not, i can get by just fine inside my own head.
the only thing i need to come out for is to keep my body nourished and alive.

 

The snow has been coming down here. The tv is predicting 10 inches tonight.

Thanks. Dad is 91 and has been having problems for the last several months. Somehow he keeps bouncing back but each time it is to a lower level of mobility and health.


I was out around 2 and we had about an inch of snow so far. It was coming down good though so could be a couple inches by now.

We got major snow overnight and more on the way. I bet there is already 7-8 inches on the ground and it's still snowing. It's wet, heavy snow. The news is saying 5 more inches with heavy winds picking up soon.

i messed up my knee
.....so i'm loading up on various pain solutions until i can get to the mainland and buy a bracey knee playing with the dog....bent it the wrong way

There is soooo much snow out there today! Parts of the sidewalk leading out back are knee deep. I'm not even bothering with trying to clean any of it up right now. I walked to the neighbors house because she couldn't start her snow blower. I just did the snow blowing for her since I was already there. By the time I got done, my footprints through that deep snow were blown in with snow so much that you couldn't even see most of them. I just went to the store in my Jeep and....fuck it...I plowed right through it all. I do like driving my Jeep around in this crap.

I decided to go to my local brewery because it's Sunday but I wasn't expecting anyone to be there in these damn near blizzard conditions. But...yup...the regulars were all there. Glad I didn't miss out. Sunday afternoons...the owner usually picks out 5 or 6 high end beers that he picked up in different places and we sample all of them for free. I love that place!

 

i miss my bar too.....it was called tramps....and is no more.....

 

house beside me has been empty now for almost a year..guy who owns it is a nutcase who needs to open and close all his car doors everytime he comes and goes..i wont miss him if he croaks before i do

he's also one of those assholes that will shovel his driveway and put all the snow on the street on my side so the snowplow comes by and gives me a big snowbank
