my chair is on wheels over hardwood so I have to careful don't roll over his tail constantly

I cant catch a break on this mini roadtrip I have to make......300 k but I don't want to do a there and back without dry roads the whole way otherwise it will take way too long

ive been dehydrating slices of sweet potato for my dogs treats......he loves them but the ones at the store are 8 bucks for a handful.....so I make my own

slicing them even is damn near impossible but I been managing....ten it occurred to me that they have a big slicer at the general store so I called them and they said bring them down.....awesome sauce

 

we have some dried sweet potato treats for my dog but he has too few teeth so he just gets bored and leaves a slimy piece of sweet potato in the middle of the rug.

 

you can save those up and throw them in a side salad.....another money saving idea from the rollin hills

hey speaking of disgusting....my fave opic.....anyone ever do that thing where you save up all those slivers of soap and squish a bunch of them into a new big bar of germ ridden grossness?

the thought of doing that always seemed wrong to me....I remember growing up it seemed those slivers of soap were there for years lol

i'm on season 2 of re-watching Seinfeld....love that show....snow isn't so powdery and fun to shovel today.....somehow gained major density and is now heavy.....driveway will be a 3 or 4 part funtime all day


also...now a law that you need a carbon-mon detector in every home or apt...any abode......so I asked the chief of our fire dudes[neighbor] and he confirmed it....then he pulled me over in his gorgeous fire engine red pick up and gave me a brand new good quality detector with voice alarm and all kinds of bells and whistles.....

compliments of our fire department....I love this community....

 

i got the CO sensor.. its in the trash can.. .. beep beep bye bye..

 

When my son moved into his house, we (Mama and I) got him a nice new carbon monoxide detector. We even bought him the correct batteries, so that wouldn't be an excuse not to use it. Come to find out, he doesn't need an excuse.

Guess what...it is STILL IN THE FREAKIN PACKAGE. I found it in one of his spare bedrooms. gad

I asked him WTH?!? There is no answer other than we wanted him to put it up...is what I think. again, gad. His answer to the WTH question was to grin. dang a son and his grin. :dizzy2:

 

i guess this guy doesnt want his truck fixed....today is the warmest day all week and he didnt drop it off like he said he would

It got into the low 40s here today and a bunch of snow melted.

My son and his band left for their Midwest tour today and one of the vehicles blew an engine. No word from him on where he is or what is being done. I'm sure he's fine but I hope they make it to Omaha tonight for their show. Not a good way to start a tour but it happens.
