good morning....pow finally came by early this morning

 

Much of our ice and snow melted over the weekend (40-50F degrees) back to below freezing today.

 

Bics rub me the wrong way too. They're too expensive and are empty or quit functioning just as fast. They're about a euro a piece here, I can get 5 lighters for that.

 

right now I'm using a pink bic. nobody pockets them on me, so I've kept it for quite a while.

 

I always say bic lighters are free.....they are usually laying out on display at peoples houses and in their cars....they leave them out on purpose so others may help themselves........

so I just did something.....no ploe all day yesterday.....I needed to get into town and couldn't

I see the front end loader come down the road so I headed out and drove down the narrow path he made until I made thehighway......but the ol Honda is a trooper and made it the whole way

I had to make a payment at my mechanics....if they see you come in a storm to pay them money they are more likely to come out here in a storm to help me if I need it

In those instances when they are 'free' bic lighters are ok Especially the smaller ones. But I just don't go and buy them myself anymore when I can get 5 lighters for 90 cents! I also like that those cheap ones are transparent. But overall I will admit I find the small bics the most aesthetically pleasing.

myvwasher froze up and is stalled on drain but the pump is frozen or blocked with ice..had to remove a whole load of wash....empty the freezing water....bring the machine inside the house to thaw out....they are in the sun room but I guess it was just too cold laast night
