the only thing i like about winter is how the snow makes everything so quiet....especially the cars going down the road

Firewood is stacked... Now it's time for breakfast. At 2:30 in the afternoon.

ive eaten 2 chicken sammiches , crackers, potato chips, corn puffs a V8,,and Im still hungry.

 

eat some celery. you're missing something cold and crunchy. or an apple/orange. pickle even.

 

I'm the same way about posting photos from my phone… Unless you click the link that says full version and then it will search my phone for photos to post but unless I cropped the living shit out of them they don't go through anymore… Wish stricter size limits these days

 

Went to the cabin with the boys last night, it was amazing. Came home to a foot of snow covered in freezing rain, which was now melting, so it was basically a foot of slush. Even with the snlow blower, that was a heck of a job.

Back on the grind tomorrow! Not very happy about it but hey, I gotta eat!

yeah but if you are lucky enough a bunch of trees will break and the storm will have helped cut your firewood!

 

Thank goodness all those slushy gross melt the snow melted into the ground won't be quite so messy of a drive this week…

 

A storm like that won't break the dead trees I'm needing and I'd rather not it harm the live trees I need to keep.

My husband fell a few minutes ago. He bruised, at the least, his ribs. He had just fallen Wednesday and has a bruised, at the least, shoulder that he has been groaning with for the last two days.

He needs a walker. He falls at least once a week and sometimes several times a week.

This is going to be a battle. He doesn't want one.

 

Would he use a cane?
