I also take exception that the term money pit when referring to an ATV… Sure if you're going to be one of those rich assholes who has to deck out his ride to wear matching leathers and matching helmet and take trips to theHatfield McCoy trail system… Then yes you're going to spend some money… I spent less than $2000 in total on my ATV had it two years… Which one of my cheapcheapest tablets… Peanut butter balls calls for butter in the recipe so in one of the batches are used canna-butter

Today is burial day for my sister-in-law's ashes.

I'm kind of anxious about picking up the flowers my brother had me order. My sister-in-law had said that she had one request for flowers. She wanted Calla Lillies and no other flower. The quote was "If it is only one Calla Lily in a vase, I want Calla Lillies and nothing else; very little greenery".

When the florist was taking the credit card number from my brother, I heard her explaining to him that she had to use some greenery to hide her workings.

My brother wanted a spray on an easel that could stand up during the graveside service and then be laid on the ground after burial.

The florist said she would use 9 Calla Lillies, cascading, diagonally, down the spray of greenery. I was concerned that the green leaves she used might be too broad and not look nice. She suggested adding some Eucalyptus which I thought would be nice.

Anyway, I've never used this florist before and I'm a little nervous. I don't want my brother, or my sister-in-law's family (who told him of her floral request) to be disappointed; truth be told, I don't want to be disappointed either!

There won't be any other flowers. It was requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to The American Cancer Society.

I'm picking the arrangement up and taking it to the cemetery before the service. I'm going to be really upset if I don't like it.

My dog is outside running around in the snow like a mad man… Maybe I should go out and jog 5 miles with him… Yeah right…I don't think him or me has the endurance of a mighty pug… I didn't think a pug could jog 1 mile never mind five you think it's heart would pop out of its body

 

This seems a reaction to the first post of the other random thread random thoughts. Anyway, I actually had the same random thought. 5 miles is quite a walk for a pug!
