We don't have 94 here... 93 is as high an octane available.

ive never seen it either...pretty sure our choices are 87 89 and 91

    87 is 10% ethanol...89 is 5% and 91 is usually ethanol free

they say on website they add an antifreeze additive into all grades though....even the super premium 94,...so technically thats a sneaky was of adding ethanol and calling it "wintergas" additive

Most brands around here add ethanol during the winter... Sunoco was one that didn't and that was my only fuel for years with the HHR. There aren't any local stations though so I can't rely on that anymore. Shell has ethanol in ALL grades all year long. I hate their gas I can feel the difference.

The guy I work with when I do tiling has a big commercial van filled with tools/tiles/bags of cement and he does jobs 20-30 miles away from home, and EVERY SINGLE DAY that I work with him, I hear him complaining about the fact that he is already running out of gas and that he has ''just put 30$ this morning''....

Dude has to accept that his van burns gas lol, and then at the same time he would need to go to the gas station every day

Dude needs to be charging more money if he's worried about gas. Don't get me wrong...I value a buck as much as anyone but we spend a lot on fuel, we have to have it and it isn't a negotiable commodity (for us). We will pay what we have to pay for it...no matter how high the prices get (which coincidentally are about $2.54/ga in our area...which makes me pretty happy) But it has been much higher. $4/ga really pissed me off a few years ago.

Got some more wood cut/split/stacked... Get me through until Sunday when I have to get down more trees. Wish I could get one of the huge ones down so I can get a month ahead of the game.

Tyrsonswood....I don't remember if I already said this or not but maybe you could contact some local tree services and see if they need a place to get rid of wood. Some might process and sell it but some may not. I know we used to give it away by the flatbed trailer load just to get rid of it back when we ran more residential crews. For a short time, we charged $40 (10-15 years ago) just to cover the cost of delivering it but it was a serious amount of wood. Granted, it may be mostly green and not cut to length but you could process it how you want later and stockpile it for next year. Just an idea. Then you wouldn't be under the gun to drop and split the standing dead trees for heat.
