it's not about seeing, hearing and speaking no evil... there is plenty of that everywhere... i deal with it on a daily basis... i just thought there were certain rules about verbal abuse and bullying here, on this site...

 

Oh... and on this... there are few fights that destroy my inner peace in real life, that wouldn't do worse, if I had to have them in my own head after ignoring them outside it.

There are... unfortunately, there is also free speech on this site... and when one person ignores the 'keep it polite' rule, its really hard to tell someone they have to be polite when they respond.

You think I should sit back and ignore those who start? Why?

Why should they be allowed to make comments I find rude and insulting, and yet I shouldn't?

I don't claim mine are greater then theirs.... But I sure as hell won't accept theirs as more valid or appropriate...

Which makes more sense? If you have a problem with the way I react to people being rude to me, wouldn't it be better to suggest to THEM that they not be rude, before you tell me my reaction is rude?

To either just tell me, or to tell us both, is ignoring the issue... that first person is going to go on and be rude to someone else, and think nothing of it... Why wouldn't they?

After all, Tom is the asshole for being rude back and not just ignoring them in the first place... Right?

 

you are rude to people who aren't rude to you though, so your argument doesn't stand... do you think it would be very productive if i were just plain rude and abusive to you? would the discussion get very far? i was on a thread that was closed because of your bullying... so for all the others who wanted to continue with the discussion, they couldn't... can you see what i'm trying to say?

There are times when I do get someone by mistake... I always apologize if I feel I have done so...

As for that last part about those who want to can't continue with a conversation. That is 100% bullshit, and nothing more then an excuse used to try to censor me (in this case anyway)... I didn't close the thread... a moderator did... I also didn't do anything to stop anyone from starting another thread about it...

Using the example of the poly thread, why in the fuck should I sit back and allow someone to say that my chosen lifestyle is only chosen by child predators?

 

i am not going to go back and read loads of stuff on previous threads Tom.... i can speak from my very own experience with you... your behaviour was bullying then... you accused me of all sorts of things that are just not true... you never apologised for your behaviour then, so you are talking crap...

If you chose the wrong words, you could have fixed them, instead you chose to defend them... Your choice.

BTW, this falls under the category of one of my triggers that is obvious enough for someone to avoid IF THEY SO CHOOSE.
