We have Sylus on a large breed puppy food that has very little chicken. I'd suggest trying that. However, I don't like the label on it since there are about 50 ingredients that I can't pronounce

The park we took him to always has a lot of dogs. I think he's going to be fine, but I think he will be very territorial of the house and other animals/people coming in. He feeds off our energy the most...I'm noticing more and more that he is in a bad mood when we are, he is happy when we are, so that impacts things big time.
