I can't wait to move to my new place! I also can't wait to have my arm out of this fucking cast. I can't take it anymore, it's so uncomfortable and itchy, and I still have 2 weeks to go nooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Tips, anybody?

 

have you got a back-scratcher stick? they slip down inbetween the plaster and your skin... really great if you are itching bad, but be gentle on your skin.... don't scratch too hard... and try not to count down the days.... it will seem longer...

random fact about me: i am still learning social skills as i am used to spending so much time on my own...

Thank you guys, it really cheers me up. I don't have a back-scratcher stick but I'll try to find something long and thin (and not too rough on my skin). I tried to use an unfolded cloth hanger but I think I scratched myself, so I need something else.

Random fact: irish stew is damn comforting when you're cold and have the munchies.

bassline...i used a knitting needle to scratch down into my many casts

 

the only bone I ever broke was my toe.

 

i broke several toes,both feet twice,both ankles ,back in 3 spots several bones in both hands and both wrists,collar bone,many fingers some several times

once while partying i broke my foot on friday and didnt know until sunday

and i am not accident prone...just active and possibly sometimes wreckless

i have calmed down substantually

 

oh ya...3 bone grafts,2 rods,9 screws various,i plate.more than 100 stitches,1skin graft

 

talking of hospitals, i was born with a hole in my heart... i had open heart surgery when i was 5 and was still in hospital for my sixth birthday... well open heart surgery was new then... i woke up in intensive care and i remember being upset because i couldn't suck my thumb as they'd strapped my hands down so that i couldn't remove any of the tubes...

 

It cold here this morning and I have a nice warm fire in the woodstove....Thanksgiving dinner went well, I didn't burn anything and the turkey wasn't to dry...

Random Fact....I have never had a broken bone.

 

I broke a thumb once...had ten stitches in my face and did something to my ankle last spring that I probably should have gotten checked because I still have trouble walking on it

 

I kicked an amplifer once and broke a toe....;-)

 

I've never broken anything!

 

i go to back to school and work monday.

 

There is a herd of deer in my back yard.....;-)
