Random Facts Here Comes The Summer Edition XLIV

I had to let this post from the previous RF thread simmer in my subconscious a while, Lynn.

Here is the main thing: As the main character in Fight Club said, "And I used to be such a nice guy!" I am no longer anybody's insipid worm. So that's a good thing.

The thing about my Train Angel is that: I think she's probably a mind-reader/spirit-guide type like Deanna and her hag cohorts. It's just that Train Angel sat next to me on the train Friday night, practically on top of me, being flirty and fun and sexy and loving. Any woman who does that with me can say pretty much any damn thing she wants, and I will take it in the most humorous and positive way possible.

I don't doubt at all that what Deanna and the hag sisters AND the Train Angel are doing is getting my ego self to relinquish control. It's just that different roles are required at different times to accomplish the work in question.

Another thing is: Every thought you expressed is a thought I've nurtured in my own mind on lots of occasions. It's just that I keep coming back to what I feel deep inside me...and as Train Angel said to me Friday night, "And it's hard to dismiss those feelings deep inside us, isn't it?" Yeah. And she sees a LOT.

My parents and one sister live in Tucson, btw. I visited them in...ummm. Shit. 2009? Can't remember now.


Yesterday I accomplished a very important task: I cleared the empty wine bottles of the past several months from my bedroom floor and took them to the recycling place. Today my body is so sore I can barely move. But my spirit is at peace. Well, close to peace, anyway.

 

This song came on the radio as I was driving home after dropping off my 18-year-old daughter at her residential high school - good to listen to this again after so many years...George Harrison was a beautiful man, in so many ways.

That's where I've been the past few days...I was about ready to authorize God to do the Sodom and Gomorra thing to the whole planet - "Fuckin-A, dude - do that thang." My apologies to my friends here...I would have let God spare you, kinda like Lot and his family...

I saw a triple rainbow once in my life. That was amazing. Never more than that - so far .

I've been in pretty good spirits but I will go off on people if it will get me some results...

 

Me neither...I went white water rafting once, tho. I bought a t-shirt afterward that said, "I don't suffer from insanity - I love every minute of it." I loved that t-shirt until it turned too yellow to wear anymore.

That happened near Atlanta btw, Aeri.

Results are hard to come by sometimes...especially with the Hag Sisters.

 

I white water rafted on the Ocoee, where the Olympic events were held. That was the most fun I've ever had.

I was there on a business trip, back in the late 90s. That was in the days when I worked for a real-live consulting firm, and they had yearly retreats and made me feel like a sure-enough consultant, even though I was really more of a glorified contractual. That trip was a lot of fun, though, when they let us out of the business meetings. I made a friend who looked damn fine in a swimsuit... *sigh* And yeah, the rafting was good, too.

Just collected 2 quarts of dandelion flowers to make wine with. It should be ready right around Christmas.

 

Dammit I think we got another nest. There is a gap right next the garage door and I saw one fly inside of it
