i get a truckload of firewood for $35. from a friend. we will use the woodstove a lot more this year. last year we ran out of wood.

 

I have a HUGE pile of scrap wood that I'm afraid to burn because it could catch the nearby trees of fire. So I'm planning on cutting it up for firewood this winter. Any wood leftover from building furniture I use in the stove too.

 

we used to use my grandfathers scraps for starting fires

he worked mostly with cedar at the end

 

Cedar burns really well. It has a lot of oil in it.

Most of the wood I burn is from South America. Lots of brazilian cherry, lyptus and tigerwood. Anything that's warped and I can't use.

 

Could you not shave it down and then gift it for drawer scents or natural potpourri?

 

I have a big pile of shavings from the planner, but it doesn't really smell very good. My neighbor ususally uses it for paths through their garden or sometimes I turn it into charcoal.

 

I was not sure how aromatic those were.

fact: I pay a fortune for those natural potpourri things.

 

I've been dry brushing my skin lately with a hemp mit, it feels really good.

 

i brushed my teeth with some hemp buds..

 

my head hurts reallly bad right now, i think it's time for some more weed, and a good nights sleep.
