Same! I loved The Cure, The Smiths, Dire Straits, The Eurythmics, Bob Dylan, Prince and Tracy Chapman- they all bring me back to sixth form days with a few good friends

 

The Smiths remind me of one of the chaplains, Annie lennox annoys me, Prince is just bizarre.

So not too similar then

My sixth form days were Black Sabbath, KISS, Motely Crue, HIM, Alice Cooper etc.

I have heard a lot from them, and I do like some of it. But, with me they are artists where I like a few, but wouldn't listen to a whole album or such.
