worst weather i was in was probably a few years ago in lake havasu, arizona. Was 120 degrees and it would randomly start raining and thundering and get windy as fuck.

it might be called something else in other countries but i know up here the humidex is a rating assigned to what a human will feel the heat as instead of the actual bare reading

kind of like windchill except it takes humidity into the equation

Yes it is, I turned my on yesterday, so its nice and comfortable in the house...

Its going to get close to 100 here today, but the humidity isn't going to be up, so its more like the heat they have in Arizona, dry...

Yup, the dryness helps. However the dryness also serves to suck the moisture right out of your body...and in 120 or so temps, you run a serious danger of becoming overheated, which of course tends to fry your brains. I leave it as an exercise for the reader to decide if brain frying is a factor in my life...

It was probably in July - that's the "monsoon" season there. I spent a week camping on Lake Mead once in July. It was hot and sunny during the day, and thundered and poured rain every night.

Did I mention my 23-year-old stepson recently started a job as a steward on a Hawaii island-hopper cruise ship?
