BTW, my stepson arrived home yesterday, after 5-1/2 months of touring the US on his motorcycle. He has some pretty good stories...and ideas for another US tour or three and maybe a Europe tour...

RF: When that movie came out at the rental store I rented it. I liked it so much that I took it over to my Grandmas' because she said she was looking for something good to watch.

She was not amused..

just got back from a ride. this new trail that got rebuilt after a tornado took it out 3 yrs ago. it's a great trail. there are some really STEEP hills out there. like so steep your front tire can come off the ground or the rear tire will spin. I cleaned the steepest ones on my first try. its sandy out there but it rained yesterday so there's great traction. i'm still getting used to my new bike. i've only ridden it about 3 times.

I remember a time I was playing a Yes album at my parents' house, and my mom asked in an indignant tone, "What's this crap?" Lovely woman, my mom.

Well, I'm pissed at Hubs. I have waited since Saturday to get the silver wire to make the crystal pendants for the herb shop. It arrived today but I can't use it. Hubs made decision to order a smaller guage than what I asked him to order.

When I saw that it was the wrong size I wanted to send it back and he encouraged me to try to use it anyway. I've wasted 40 inches of the wire because of it breaking on two attempts I made to wire wrap a crystal.

Basically, I think he ordered the smaller guage to save $10 and now I have $25 worth of silver wire I cannot use.

The money we spent on it was a gift from his sister so we really aren't out any money but there is no more money to spend on new wire.

 

nope...i turned 52....my cutoff is now26 for babes ...this lady was more 40....common knoledge people can sleep with half their age after they turn 50
